A Quick Reversal

Log picks up after I had been fighting Tamira and Tiberius around Gap for a bit, eventually resulting in me eating a couple bashes and running to Blight. Then Ifrit logs on and comes south, and we get to work.

Precise Strike and Kick not obeying faceoff properly

Both of these skills always target the first person in the room in a group, might want to take a look at that.

Sure it is. If you read his original post, he said he wanted kick to land more frequently against characters with a higher defense. Sounds like a solid idea to me.

Idea: Achievements

While thinking about ways to keep players active and give them something to do, I came up with the idea of achievements. Anyone who has spent any time on X-Box Live or played WoW recently will know of the concept immediately: basically, whenever you accomplish a certain feat, you would unlock an ...

That idea's not bad, but it would depend heavily on the intervals for interrupting the timer. For example, I don't think it should ever beat out an air scythe. Trying to balance a skill like that would take a lot of testing, and even then it could end up being too good.

Looks fine to me, he's a master in a full kit, he should be beating you. One option you have, although its a hassle, is you can carry a set of parry trinkets with you for when you need to avoid getting hit.

Bashing channelers are too good, something needs to be done about them. As for sanctuary, I think there's something funny about the way the damage reduction is done. Maybe its just me, but I feel like its reducing the damage my channelers take by a lot more than 15%

Or thieves could just accept that they aren't meant to be a primary combat class. In my view, a thief is a support character: they should be scouting, striking behind enemy lines, blocking, spamming doors, taking hits so bashers/channelers can do their damage, and doing damage where and when they ...

Moving them to help raiders sounds wonderful. Perhaps giving them the ability to gate someone (without no quit!) back to more friendly areas would be appropriate as well.

So apparently there are these channeler mobs in the middle of PK zones that weave on people and can heal for money. This seems a little unbalancing to me personally, but I figured we could have a discussion about this and whether or not they should be moved elsewhere/removed. So discuss!

Your parry is too low. Before Vyldav began trying to balance out melee combat, I had a discussion with him and we determined that dodge bonus played too much of a role in avoiding hits, and that he was going to have its importance decreased. Whether or not it actually happened I don't know, but I ...
