The End of the Marble Hallway
The hallway comes to an end as it reaches two doors, one to the west and one to
the south. The west door is kept well secure, with a latch above the handle
and bolts to keep visitors out, as the room behind is where honored
Borderguards take refuge. The room to the south, however, is where the current
leader of the city stays, be it a noble or the active king, during a time of
crisis. The hallway heads east for a short distance, where it eventually leads
into a large, open room.
