I came up with an interesting idea, rather than renting and waiting to switch sides create a command such as "switch sides" which will rent your character and begin your wait period and it will also create a post such as "one player is switching to ls and has x amount of time left"

Players will be able to see this post during their log in sequence, so if no one is on they will see that someone will be on in a few.

Or create a "switch" command which someone who has just logged in can enter the command to see if anyone is currently in the process of switching sides.
