Before an Iron Gate
Enormous, iron wrought gates flank either side of the distraught driveway
leading to a crumbling citadel to the north. Gruesome statues of writhing men
top both columns holding the gate upright and a huge lock is fastened to the
structure to keep intruders out. Weeds grow up between the broken stones of
the path here, making footing treacherous.
