Suggestion to increase numbers/pk
Suggestion to increase numbers/pk
summer is over and numbers are dropping like flies..perhaps we could do something about this?
How about a designated time every day, lets say 6-8 pm EST where playerkills are worth double WPS. This would maybe encourage people to congregate at that time and we would actually have some pk. It could also make the legends list more interesting, encouraging people to pk and take risks for the slightly bigger (if useless) rewards of WPS. The times could be discussed by the active player base to see what would best suit them.
Anyway...discuss!

Anything that gets people on and out into the world is a good start. If one side is out smobbing this provides the opportunity for the other side to try to interfere, thus creating PK. It's also entirely possible that instead of always changing smob loads we could do the occasional mob raid or some other fun event...
A smob with this load is in the game until someone kills it or the MUD reboots:
a giant Seanchan berserker is using:
<worn around neck> a shimmering pendant of heartstone
<worn on head> a gold-plated silver full helm
<worn about body> a stiff black jacket, fitted with gold-buckled chest straps
<worn on body> a Sharan-emblazoned cuirass
<worn on shoulders> a set of spaulders branded with a sleek fox
<worn on arms> a pair of flexed obsidian vambraces
<worn about waist> a tough section of dried boarhide
<worn around wrist> a spiraled bracelet of cuendillar
<worn on finger> a bright red heartstone ring
<wielded with two hands> a giant steel-bound club
<worn on legs> a pair of strange green metallic greaves
<worn on feet> a pair of steel-bound combat boots
