Am I missing something here?

I have notice to 99 and I eat every stab anyone ever rolls on me!

So I did a few testing and seems I was right

Sakura didnt even have to hide and I still ate stabs and she was using the crappiest dagger there is.

Notice does not affect how frequently a stab lands, it only helps you see through hide.

Also, just because a dagger is otherwise crappy doesn't mean that it's bad at landing backstabs!

Ahhh well I wish someone had told me that, I dont think i would have died so frequently had I known. I think the amount of hps taken per stab is too great.

the reason i like thieves is the stab damage, cause once you miss or are spotted, to kill someone is very hard.

the only problem i see with rogues is the landing %, i think it is too high

I brick a bunch. and when i do land lately its not a blick its mainly to batt/beat..stab seems fine atm.. Heck you all blick me if u land lately =P

I hate stab dmg, I ate a stab yesterday that was the first in a long long while that wasnt for 400+ dmg.

Considering how easy it is to not get stabbed when you are paying attention...downing stab damage would make the class worthless. They rely on 1 surprise attack at the start to win, and if that fails they are a sitting duck basically.

That is not true at all. Dagger dmg is nice and shield block and pstrike can take people down.

Yes but it takes alot of work, where as a basher can just stand there and push bash. If i eat one bash while engaged on a few im dead. I went wounded to insta dead in one bash once. And if Im fighting a charger thats even worse, fighting them leaves me very little options, still unsure what to do here and all i can do is stab their horse or just melee pstrike.

When I pk on any class Ive always got notice on and I presume everyone else does that too. So it is not easy to pull off stabs imo, next to impossible to stab anyone when we are in group fights, well thats in my experiance:P
The only time I get to stab someone is if Im solo

Still its fun to play and Im still getting use to it.
