I'd like to get a feel for public opinion on the total lack of communication from the crossroads. Do you feel the mystique of not knowing when someone dies in pk is best, or would you rather be able to inform someone that you are dead (and nothing else)?
Just a question, and maybe a discussion.
Lack of communication from the crossroads.
seeing as how you can put in your title that you died anyway, I think it would be sweet if, once you die to pk, a message comes to murash and he narrates that you died, and nothing else. and maybe the farther away you are from gk, the longer it takes for the message to reach him. that way people will know you died, but they won't know where, to whom (or how many), or exactly when
I like nico's idea.
I fervently hate being able to send tells INTO the Crossroads.
I thought it was fine before when you could try to send a tell, and it said Your attempt to communicate fails.
It's easier to tell with the failing of the tell, and it's pretty lame to think you can send tells to someone who is dead.
Nico's idea is pretty damn cool, but I don't know if that'd be the greatest idea.
Solo pkers while the other players on same side are exping will hear the announcement and then could come and pk, whereas the wait time of the players death would add to the length of any mishaps.
Think the best fix would to just make it that you can't communicate in, or out.
