Your bash at the blighted elk sends it sprawling!

HP:Scratched MV:Excellent - a sickly deer: Healthy>

You slash a sickly deer's legs into bloody fragments!
A sickly deer is stunned, but will probably regain consciousness again.

HP:Scratched MV:Excellent - a sickly deer: Critical>

Your powerful slash cleanly cuts off a sickly deer's head, which rolls away with a look of horror on it.
You slash a sickly deer's feet into bloody fragments!
A sickly deer grimaces in pain.
You receive some experience points!
Your blood freezes as you hear a sickly deer's death cry.
A sickly deer is dead! R.I.P.
A sickly deer stops following the blighted elk.

As you can see, although the elk is clearly bashed the deer thats is grouped with it is hit.

engaging with all timers is working the same.
stab/charge/bash 1.mob and end up engaged on 2.mob or some such.

I assume it's some sort of bug with faceoff and counting a timer attack as something different to a melee.
