As many of you may have noticed, your characters are not what they were when you left them from Sunday. The reason is that we are running on a backup from March 17th, so everything you see is from then as well.
What happened is that our previous hosting location was terminated due to a miscommunication between the two people running the box. It was already planned that we would move server locations, however, our host had thought we were already gone. I took the opportunity to find a new home for the game, where I will be better able to access the game in case of a serious issue.
Due to this, we will likely be slow in transitioning files from our backup to the server. The forum will also be moving to be integrated with the game on the same box. This means that eventually the domain name www.kinslayermud.org will also work for logging into the game, but for now, "kinslayer.mine.nu" will work.
Reimbursements: I don't generally hand these out, as in the past we have dealt with quite a few issues from these, however I realize that there are some players out there who have put forth a considerable amount of work in the past week or two. Ravir and I already spoken to a few of those people, and will continue to seek them out.
