Zones: Take Your Pick!

Post by Galnor »

I want to hear everyone's opinion. Vote on one character, and only if you know what I'm talking about...

The Choices are...

Old Kinslayer PK Zones

or

New Kinslayer PK Zones

Changing the zones back would provide a smaller area for PK to happen, which is probably a good thing with the current size of our playerbase. I'm all for giving the old zones a second chance.

I'm thinking more of a blend, but I want to see what people think about the new ones as compared to the old.

Fm would be gone, Tv to fd would be changed fd to gap gap to blight. The zones back then were a lot better and the way the current fd is set up promotes pansy pk. It also takes too long to get to a place to fight one of the like 4 people who pk on the mud.

Even though I didn't play in the Old Zones, it means I'll get to map the MUD all over again. Sounds like fun to me!

Would the new Baerlon still exist if old zones got put back in?

I haven't learned these new zones yet but it seems spread out a bit more which imo is good to even out moves and such. I would suggest giving it some time and i mean a good bit of time month easily before deciding. Then come back and check it again.

The new Fal Dara and the zone around it were pretty weak, I'm glad they got exchanged. The rest of the new zones are nice though.

One thing. Remove FD's locking northgate, maybe give trollocs some mob support in the area to replace the mobs that were taken out when the zones was changed. Putting bowl back would be excellent, then give us a couple mobs around Gap somewhere.

I think the zones are fine, but channelers need to be reimp'd or, in lieu of that, more abilities and/or changes to current abilities need to be introduced for all classes.

For example, disengage bash should be reintroduced imo.

I think they should add a feature to where it only allows you to flee 3 times a tic. ;)

if they did that without adding more skills for thieves, the class would be completely useless.

Disengage bash would be doing the same thing. With the way flee lag is now, it just doesn't add up fast enough.
