I emerged from my sleep, and at once, Master Mardock set forth on me. The screaming was hurting my head, as I just woke up, but I ran as fast as I could to west of that human city, north to a cave of bears, almost as ferocious as myself. All I seen was fresh tracks, and smelled nothing. I ran back south, only to find the fleshy one was hiding with Agelmar, and even I dare not go there solo. I flirted my sword on the heads of some guards, rendering them without a breath. Funny it is how my blade dances across their necks and blood returns to my beckon. At last Master Mardock commanded me again, but my trolloc intelligence hindered my ability to completely comprehend his cryptic information. So I ran around looking for something to kill, only for nothing. I was summoned before Mardock for my failure, and indeed I had failed. Myself and the Kno'mon, my trolloc brethren. For now Desain had acquired a special object of Master Mardock's desire. And I was the fetcher of this item. As I grovelled before Master Mardock and Chosen Lanfear, great lights filled the sky before them. Dancing to their beck and call. I was offered 1 last chance, but this time should I fail, I would pay in death. But I would not die. I would not fail. A way out from death was shown before me.
A portal of blood red coalesced from the ground at the will of Mardock, and I was thrown through it. As I waited in the cool mountain passage, I could hear the footsteps of another. Desain. At last my prey was here, and without anywhere to run. We fought bitterly, chasing, running, blood covered the walls. But it was not my blood. At last with a mighty bash in front of the Aiel Chieftain, Desain stopped moving, and I got what I wanted. The soldier was afraid, and he begged for his life, much like others have begged. But I was not in a giving mood, because my life was in his hands. I die, or he dies. I hate dying. As I laid a fatal bladestroke to his torso, Master Mardock and Lanfear arrived. I was offered many things, grandoir things. But I am but a simple trolloc. I had gotten what I wanted. I was still alive. And that was the most precious gift of all. I hear whispers of a gem that does wonderful things, but know not I, because it was gone before I could touch it. Someday I shall return to that place and search for my lost gem, but not today. Today I rest, for I am still alive.
