On ongoing investigation of complaints for the player of Aylar regarding houseguest rule violations including but not limited to harassment, sexual harassment, abuse of players, abuse of Immortals, and abuse of clan privileges has resulted in this player being banned permanently from the Wheel of Time MUD.

We apologize to the playerbase for letting this continue for what seems like too long. In particular the sexual harassment was something that we needed to gather evidence for in regards to reporting to appropriate agencies as needed or required. There were delays and very careful steps taken because some of the characters he harassed in this way were owned by Immortals and Staff members, so we had to carefully document every occurrence and also ask you, as players, to document any and all sexual harassment incidents. While the inclusive issues involved are no more and no less serious than sexual harassment, that was the single issue that took the most time to document. Thank you to those players who did take the time to document incidents with this player.

At this time the following characters have been confiscated. Due to the nature of some of the issues we are not going to delete the characters, as we do not want them to be remade and have there be confusion regarding the names and associated bad behavior:

Ahren, Arafanz, Aylar, Beric, Darkzen, Deil, Dhalsim, Ghon, Graidek, Jessamine, Kuim, Kylar, Louis, Riccardo, Ricks, Salah, Serkgov, Shalar, Urithran, Vega

We understand that in the past few weeks the player of these characters has been trying to offload them. We will not be returning them to anyone for any reason. We realize there may be other characters out there, and as we find them we will remove them from the game. If you have received a character in the past six months from this player it would be best to simply turn it in to a Staff member.

In addition we acknowledge that this player will take this as a challenge to try to get back into the game. For this reason we are encouraging all players to keep a vigilant watch for this player and his methods, and to report all suspicious activity that you think may be attributed to this player. We will investigate and take appropriate actions.

Several IPs have been banned in entirety, while others have been banned from being able to create new characters. If you find yourself or a friend caught up in this ban, please be sure to mail Vivienne or Elysia so we can investigate and if appropriate issue a site-okay release.

Every immortal listed below has taken part in the conversation(s) regarding this player and has rendered a decision. The active Immortals and Staff are unanimous in this decision and, as such, there is no appeal.

I'm still a little sad they put sexual harassment on there. I mean if you're going to accuse someone of something like that, at least have some evidence and a fair trial.

I was also kind of sad that they said "permanently banned", I mean... What was I last time? Just banned for x amount of time?? How come nobody told me!

But hey, at least they announced it this time. Last time it was like wtf just happened? Why?? Why will no one talk to me??
