no you weren't, if you want the kill. He was wrong to call you a piece of sh*t. He was just hoping for you to come out and actually play, not spam in a door with a ton of mobs when you are up to wound. Sure you would have had the disadvantage in the fight comming out of Algemar. But it is part of the fun and frustrating when he hopes for something fun for both of you and just gets killed immediately instead for trying to provoke you out or do a "cool" move.
He was wrong, but you should appreciate his efforts, up until the insult. It wouldn't hurt you to play along, unless you didn't feel like it.
Shrug, a newbie would spam in a door for a kill, or someone only focussing on a kill. I don't think most of us who play kinslayer are obsessed by the kill, and more by the action of striking and striking back and the fun of unusual or classy kills which require effort. shrug. that is just a thought though, not a confirmation.

Personally if it is a stabber who comes in on me in that situation, I spam them in and kill them. I have died way too many times to being afk in Agelmar (bad idea) when a stabber bricks 2-3 times on me and then finally lands on the 5th attempt. Besides, it is obvious you are afk if you see the door open and don't spam. Stabbers just get to say 'I didn't know' because they do a killing move as soon as they engage. Let's be honest- you know the person is afk. If the stabber wants pk they will either ring bell or spam door open and closed a few times.
If it is anyone else other than a stabber I would certainly let them out and proceed to kill them outside FD. The only reason any non-thief would come in Agelmar is to solicit pk.

Whatever, doesent matter.. Im done with this game.
I smob/smith for 6 hours a day, waiting for something to come PK, Only thing I ever encounter since my playing hours are not rly US primetime is once per day.. Malia logs on to stab me while smobbing.. I've somehow luckely managed to survive it and be paranoid enough to spam who on.. Today I dident and died.. Must be awesome fun to stab smobbers.. I mean sure if the game was populated stab is part of a risk you take when doing certain stuff..
But on a server with 1 player on, waiting desperately for something to online, stabbbers aint nothing more then a got damn joke..
When I came back with Misato pissed as fuck for dying loosing various rare's to getting one shotted while smobbing we pk some gap on Malia's channie alt, she spank me around, wins the fight and I die.. this was one a the few, if not the only good fight ive had in the last week or 2, I log off Misato and log on Tusk to run down to FD, I hate stabbing and does not approve it with this low population, yet somehow I was annoyed enough to tell myself she was worth it, I run fd, nothing there, check Agelmar, mobs aggro 1w, i open bronzedoor and check look, yep shes on autoscan.. so i flee and dline west, atleast thats what I thought I did.. she sits in tehre spamming and i get aggroed instead of dlining out.. so she just spams the door closed and I die.

You say sure, and come up to keep.. I kill you and take the dagger you CLAIMED I could have if u died, it wasent even you'r main weapon, it was your scalping dagger or offspec weapon.
YOU told ME I would have a chance to TAKE your WEAPON if i kill you. So fuck you.
Then it turns out all you did was lie cous the heron-marked dirk was just a retooled ruby knife.
Second PK against you a different day. Only you and me on. I locate you around TV plains rhino's. I go there and notice you xping, so I engage you. You are healthy and you say you are not setup for pk.
While im weaving Immolate on you, you say, let me reprac and Ill pk you, I keep weaving immolate and say sure, thinking you would actually flee.. You wait 2-3 immolates before fleeing, I start chasing you.. You go into TV. I chase in, eat a bash from you at west gate patrol and I die.
YOU then loot MY main weapon saying you havent seen pulwars in a while, yet you dont choose to even use em and havent used them for a week now. Really dont see the reason you loot them if your not gonna use them but w/e.
Third time killing you, I dont remember how you died, but somehow you did, and this time you are carrying a heron-marked longsword. This isent the actual heron-marked longsword but just a steel-bound club that is retooled.
Not sure why you keep retooling weapons into possible uniques?? even exact same names as uniques but I'm sure you feel cool and all so GL with that.
Obviously I looted the retooled club and told you to use pulwars or give em back and ill give u the club back. You choose to do neither.

haha your the obvious idiot. nyoga was talking about kyrana not me. yeah i told you the knife was a unique purely because you would only pk if you had something to pk for. I wasn't talking about the knife when i said you took my weapon, that was fair game since i said we were pking for weapon. which is one of the reasons i took the pulwars. the other reasons are because they are extremely rare and in the 8+ months i've been here i've only seen 1 pair. and yet you brought down another set of pulwars.
as for the retooled club, you never said anything about giving it back if i gave you the pulwars back. and you can't say 'you thought it was a unique because of the name' since before you took it during arena i TOLD YOU what it was. a retooled giant-steel club. so your full of shit obviously. you took it anyway. i dnt care if you take it at the end of pk or if there is group pk, but whats the point in taking it purely to kill pk?
