A notice so large you don't notice other notices
A notice so large you don't notice other notices
White Tower has control of only the Tower, Tower authority does not leave its walls.
One can not commit treason when one was not sworn to the Tower in the first place.

Actually it does and you were.Lamgwin wrote:White Tower has control of only the Tower, Tower authority does not leave its walls.

Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
When I joined the ranks of the Valon Guard, no such oath was required, nor were the Valon Guard in subservience to the White Tower. The White Tower didn't even exist, and I've sworn no such oath since, nor has the Valon Guard agreed to be under control of the Tower.
You have no basis for whatever it is you are trying to pull, sorry.

Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
do actually. You claim to serve the city of tar valon. The Amyrlin (along with a board of aes sedai and civil representatives) runs the city of tar valon. Therefore you serve the Amyrlin and by extent the white tower.
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
Not only are you ignorant of the history of this game, you're ignorant of the Wheel of Time in general. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amyrlin_Seat
Your claims are fairy tales, shut up finally.

Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices

Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
yeah, i should stop trying to correct you, you enjoy being wrong too much.
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
I don't enjoy watching people cling so hard to a point just because they dont want to admit they were wrong :(
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
don't beat yourself up over being stubborn, i'm sure you'll get over it some day.
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
Perhaps you are mistaking us for Tower guards? From what I can see though, there are several differences.
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
Thanks avaine....i think
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
why would i be :P?
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
In The Fires of Heaven, the White Tower split and were fighting either other. I'll pick that section for us to base our roleplay on. kthxbai.
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
Also, context of that highlighted passage doesn't necessarily mean the Valon city guard took orders from her, just that she was feared and respected by the city, which could simply mean the people residing in it.
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
um no it says that she 'RULED' the city. the valon serve the city, and the white tower, the Aes Sedai, and the amyrlin. it's simple lamgwin.
Re: A notice so large you don't notice other notices
Guess you've never heard of similes.
