As I said, there'd be new changes with the reboot. Sorry for the downtime, however, I'd rather get the job done quickly without having to lag people over a long period of time.
Stats : The old annoying "bug" which caused new rangers and thieves to have trouble obtaining decent stats when choosing the stats should now be resolved. I've bumped up the stat points you obtain upon creation. Hopefully this fixes problems.
Also, random statting is in! Upon creation, you will be asked if you'd rather choose your stats, or enter the game now and roll random stats. This will work just as before if you decide to enter the game immediately: Your stats will be revealed at level five (5) after being rerolled. Those who choose this option have the potential to obtain stat combinations which cannot be obtained using the choosing system.
There are no gender penalties of any kind.
As for old characters: We've decided that in order to keep this fair for you, we'd allow you to restat while keeping your previous status. What you must do is mail either Ravir or myself with a request to do so. We will log your player's status, store your equipment, set a delete flag on you, and mail you confirmation. Once you have obtained the stats you are content with, you may mail us back requesting that your status be reinstated along with your new stats.
Bug Fixes
--Weave Points: I've known for a while that there was a bug preventing weave point circulation in the game. This should now be fixed. In addition, weave points should now be properly split among group members who are in the room at the time of the cross-race kill.
--Crashes: There was one bug which was causing the MUD to crash periodically which should now be resolved.
--Idol Bug: The bug where the stone idols caused moves to infinitely regenerate should now be resolved.
