Can we consider changing how shield block works? I don't think it's very balanced I run a bash timer for 5 pulses and someone insta starts a shield block timer and I eat the bash, shield block should have a timer similar if not shorter than bash. If we can't have the way it works altered then make people have to use pracs to earn it as the skill can easily change the outcome of pk.

That's the issue, we now have a mud balanced according to you, before it was lamgwins imm (who did a pretty damn good job I hate to say), then it was smasher, then who knows. The muds balance is at its all time low within the last 5 or so years mostly thanks to koradins OP stuff like bows worn on back with arrows canceling all channies timers and some of bashers timers.
Shield block allows a basher using a one handed weapon to insta block a bash, the minute they see someone not meleeing they can run the block and fubar the bash, a bash takes 6 pulses and if successful results in a bash, why does shield block which doesnt even have a timer still result in a semi bash? I remember when a sh block wasn't a 100% thing but now it is.
Whats extremely op about sh block is a basher who utilizes it, the can 100% block a bash then get a free bash and if they miss can just block the next, it's not that hard to get the timing down and vs any non channie you can wtfpwn everyone.
There are a few issue THAT NEED TO BE DEALT WITH in order to balance pk and blowing them off isn't constructive for the mud

Actually, in most cases shield block should decrease your chance of avoiding a bash. When I have time I'll make sure it's working properly.

tamira and I just went at it, two combo bashers with shields, took me literally almost 5 minutes to get her beat and then she ran to a gate, with sh block do you think I will even consider risking eating a bash at a gate when I know her sh blocks work 100% of the time? This isn't only messing up pk its messing up pk strategies.
