I don't have a human rogue but I was just thinking of ways to make human rogues worth playing.
Troll warriors can get 21 strength to combat the +7 ob bonus from riding a horse. I think that rogues should be able to get 21 dexterity to combat the db malus from riding a horse. It would add a little spice to the human rogue clas.

21 str in no way compensates for the ob boost from riding.
As for human thieves, personally I find them to be more effective than trolloc thieves for several reasons. Efficient horse useage gives you unlimited moves AND a significant ob advantage. You don't always have to be dismounted to play a human thief.
The only case in which a human thief is disadvantaged at all is in an extended stabwar. Personally I prefer it this way; it forces the thief to end things as quickly as possible, or else not accomplish anything. If anything, I'd like to see trollocs lose their free sneak, to make trolloc thieves learn some conservation.
