Flee stabbing
Really here is how I think fleestab has evolved:
It was removed once people complained how it totally made absers worthless if fighting 2 thieves who are fleestabbing. The abser can spam and die to straight melee from two chars, run bashes and likely die, or go into a city.
Thieves complained that they could never land in pk once people knew they were around due to people spaming too much. Fleestab was brought back.
Back to above. The problem I have is that you have to spam your butt off so it removes the ability to bash. Even so you can still die depending on links or if notice fails that first time.

Let's say you even try to bash when fighting two stabbers. With the at best 30% chance to bash said dodger, you've got a 70% chance of missing, that's with the best weapons in the game, added in with the lag after a missed bash, along with current stab landing rates, you're pretty much resigned to dying. So you can either sit and spam and get meleed to death, and still possibly stabbed through a doubleline flee stab, or you can try to bash, miss and get stabbed in the lag and die.
Whoah whoah, let's not get hasty here, suggesting removing fleestab. Got a few points.
1. Lamg & other warriors showing concern about the fact that they can get hurt pretty badly by meleeing two thieves. It's two on one, I would hope that the solo player would be at a disadvantage, otherwise, we wouldn't have a balanced class system at all, would we?
2. Fleestab is avoidable if you spam hard enough. Seriously, if you know it's likely that your opponents are going to do it, just spam. This leads us back to you not being able to bash. Well, that sucks, but again, you are fighting two people solo ...
I guess my issue is that you're assuming that a warrior should be able to fight two thieves and be totally okay. Maybe it's more of a matter of where you think the balance should rest between classes.
The idea of trainable horses is cool. I dunno about giving them lots of mvs but it would be good to make them hard to kill, although how you'd go about doing that is definitely a subject for debate... hard to stab would be necessary.
I disagree with making all ridden horses hard to stab, though, I've been in situations where I'd have died for sure if I hadn't stabbed human-ridden horses and then gone and hidden somewhere. And really, and this is an honest question because I don't know the answer, how much do horses get stabbed out from under you during PK? I don't do it regularly, and I don't think I've seen it done regularly... but maybe some people do it more than others
