notice and lack of horses

Post by Jerez »

I am experiencing the lack of mvs humans have compared to trolls with the changes to remounts and the cost of notice.

A troll can out run a human but a troll thief can easily outrun a human because humans have to toggle on notice which eats up horse mvs.

I've watched skilled thieves such as nico and kombat easily get away from mass number of humans due to notice cost and sneak hiding tracks.

There needs to be a balance found to this issue, and Fogel forcing humans to purchase warhorses is not the answer, trolls don't purchase their moves so why should humans have to.

A possible balance would be a cost to someone who has sneak toggled on.

Another idea would be to make notice affect human mvs and not horses as to help balance ds and ls moves.

Never heard of sneak hiding tracks before.

Burned a vial to get away from the group for the instance you're talking about, and I've seen Tiberius and others run from Lugard to Fal Moran in like a tic and a half because of horse hopping...

I'd say mvs are pretty much the same for either race at the current time.

It appears that both you and Fogel can't understand that while one human might be able to go from Lugard to Gap relatively quickly, group pk for humans moves wise is pure shit. So let's handicap humans in every group fight simply because we don't want solo humans to have slightly more rooms they can get out of a horse when horse hopping? Huh, what?

It works in human lands but horse hopping doesn't work in blight. Trolls kill pretty much any horses and if I were to go hide horses around blight it just screws over the humans who don't know where they are/cant even get a horse in FD.

I personally think vials are too cheap anyway. Orglosh is pretty easy to kill apparently and loads for humans and 1 gold is a joke to get. I usually get 2-3 off trolls every week from pk.

I don't know where you're getting your vials, but it costs me 2.25 gold per vial and I have a hard time keeping them. :)

And we ignore the fact that humans get fucked over in group pk in regards to moves. Trollocs also have fades who can compel them...

And fading down to raid through Murash. I like it, but trolls lose only 50 mvs getting to FD while humans are hagg once they get to GK, not to mention the pk around it..

Except pk in blight was few and far between BEFORE the changes. And hell we had to go caemlyn and fd for any pk unless. and honestly i still run around the world as my humans no issue..its not nearly as bad as you guys are making it out..its bad on groups because people have on notice or something?

In group pk you have a 100 base move advantage, and an advantage in moves regen. In group pk horses suck ass in comparison to trollocs.

I more think its bad how little support ls has in blight. FM pat and FD patty are both pretty nice and close enough so you don't waste mvs. Humans use up all their mvs to get to blight. The reason theres never pk blight is because when we do go up there, there always seems to be 4-5 grouped trolls waiting gk to smash us, like yesterday. Not to mention our only patty in blight is in a door area so we're pretty handicapped.
