Thats still looting. And it angers me almost more than a full loot, because then the looter feels like they arent looting, when it is still a dick move.

You need to understand something, Callisto. When somebody kills you they have the
absolute and unquestioned right to pick through your gear and take whatever they desire.
This is a PK mud. That is how we get equipment. You must be pretty new here and that excuses your erroneous beliefs to an extent, but not completely; I guess people probably impressed upon you how important returning equipment is to continuing PK, and how everyone does it. Yes, that's the way it's been going, and it's really nice, because if you die you don't really have to worry about going and getting a complete new set.
The point that you've been missing is the following - when players return gear it's because they
do not need it. If I kill you and you've got two neck trinks that are better than mine I'm going to swap them and that's the way it is, because I killed you and your gear is now mine to do with as I like. I'm not going to take the rest because I don't need it and I'd like to keep PKing with you, but I'm sure as hell going to take anything that will improve my odds of continuing to kill you and take your wps and scalps. People don't return gear that they need, and if you've anyone has been doing that, they're barking up the wrong tree.
I don't mean to come off as offensive, but your ideas here are way off target, and if you're going to fit in with people you need to understand the reality of the situation. Looting isn't that big a deal - if someone does it to you, go after them, kill them, and loot your gear back, that's the way it's done.
