One of the reasons I don't play is because of characters like this with good connections can run circles around just about anyone, gets through any defense with those daggers, and can be bashed about 1 in 30 attempts. Can pretty much win any one on one just by spamming precise strike or sitting there depending on who their facing.
And if you were afk you should have just typed Rent or if you had no quit and had to go you should have found a better hiding spot.

But if you know someone is afk that doesn't mean it's alright to kill them. that's my one big beef with this mud. imms refusing to even let clan rooms be safe. if i have to afk even for just a couple mins i have to rent. and ppl that take advantage of that are weak, imo.
I generally don't have an issue with killing people AFK or getting killed AFK because I have no clue when I'm about to stab someone if they're AFK or not. Even afterward, how do I know they're always in a real life emergency instead of just farting around on the forums or not paying attention?
Killing people LD is a completely different story. If someone is flagged LD, I don't kill them, because I understand and have the same situation sometimes where I get kicked off the internet and there's really nothing I can do about it except try to log back on as quick as I can.
If you have an emergency and need to AFK, go LD, go to a city head, or go to a clan room. (Kathryn - the only way people can get into clan rooms is with a battering ram, and they are extremely hard to get and have a chance to break every time you use them.... clan rooms are still pretty darn safe.)
