new mercs

Post by Evilina »

I love the new mercs but there are a few aspects I don't care for to much.

1. My activity is sporadic, I might have 15 to play before I have to log but I do come back several times a day, loosing mercs every time I rent is costly not to mention it depletes the merc list.

2. When you have a merc return home they don't reimb any money at all nor do they go back onto the list.

3. I would love to see the original mercs placed on the list, they are classic and I do not want to see them go poof as corin or gorel did.

Im afraid the loss of the mercs on rent is permanent. There is just no way (I thought about this a lot) to have them securely save their equipment if this does not happen. This also allows other players to get the mercs instead of one guy that isnt even on the mud owning 2/3 of the mercs.

I will look at the returning some cash, I think someone took it out because it was double reimbursing or something.

If by the original mercs you mean just the mobs not that system I can maybe figure something out for that, but having those mercs along side the new ones would ruin the balance.

The one known bug that has not been resolved (lookin at you Galnor!) is mercenary stats get reset to 20 20 20 20 20 upon changing their eq. This however does not affect their hps, mvs.

I didn't mean the old merc system but the mercs themselves and not necessarily with all the original skills they possesses.
