Crossing in the Middle Road
The heavy crowds continue to push through each other, as if everyone is in a
hurry to get to where they are heading. The long main road in front of you is
made up of a strong stone to have survived the hard pounding of people's feet
and wagons heading through here every day. To the north, you can see the
palace of Caemlyn and the Inner City.

I'm confused. Are you accusing someone of being a male channeler because they walked through a gateway, which a kind aes sedai weaves for people all the time? Maybe if you got some better evidence, like him weaving a fireball, I'd be more inclinded to believe he was a male channeler. Not that they taint, from what I hear.

Oh they taint, believe me they taint... And what kind of Aes Sedai would lower herself to being a tool to someone who isn't even the white towers servant and allow them to order them to make a gateway to some place?

And, Trysstianna was right next to me, and she claims she didn't feel a single trickle of saidar being used in this gate!

While it is true that some Aes Sedai are kind, and help people around, they use what appear to be portals. And as I told Michael, I didn't feel the slightest amount of Saidar being used when that gateway was opened, nor while it was held open for that man to walk through. I have been present when women weave gateways, on both the recieving and begining ends, and they require quite a bit of power. At the very least this must be investigated thourally. And on your last point, are you seriously going to pretend that the breaking of the world was not caused by the men that went insane by the taint? The very fact that you would use the term "taint" proves that it isn't a new concept.

As you can see, channelers don't feel when a gate is being woven TO them, so Trysstianna's view point isn't valid. Also, I totally forgot about the "create shimmering portal" weave. Not.

To comment on tainting, maybe they did break the world. I wasn't there, so I can't really confirm it. But I can tell that I haven't seen them grinning or talking to themselves, unless someone wove Insanity on them. Michael, can you prove that these male channelers taint?

You can see through it, you can throw things through it, you can walk through it, hell, if you stand next to one in a warm spot, and the other side is cold, you'll feel the cold. So its obvious that if someone were to gate next to you, you would be able to sense their channeling if your near the gate, since in a way, you're now standing next to them.
My brother was a male channeler, and he tained and went insane.

If you are not even certain of a name then you can not be trusted to bear witness or in this case false witness to the act of channeling by a male or female. Let us not even discuss your attempt of introducing third hand information at best.

Froiisa chuckles as she makes her way down the halls of the White Tower towards the Accepted Quarters. The Novices had been chatting about it all day long, as if it was the best joke they had heard all their lives.

She did not know more of the supposed Story than this, besides the fact that this man, whoever he was, claimed that he saw a man Channel, and during his apparent Audience with the Amyrlin Seat he confessed that he saw a man open up a Gateway, or was it those Kind Aes Sedai who travel the world in search of those in need who opened up the gateway for this supposed Male Channler? Froiisa shakes her head as if trying to settle the Story in her mind.

As for the man who apparently could Channel, well, as long as he didn├óÔé¼Ôäót create another Breaking, go Mad; harm himself or others around him then really? If any of these things did happen they would be dealt with accordingly. Some could ├óÔé¼╦£control├óÔé¼Ôäó the One Power and some could not. Very interesting indeed. Some of the things that Sisters of the Brown Ajah told Froiisa in her Lessons almost made her head spin. Light only knew what was in store for these Men down the road.
