Cover tracks

this is a very cool skill but it isnt very worthwhile due to the insane length of timers.

There are two timers, one to initiate the skill and then another to exit the room and cover tracks, during the two timers I can be stabbed 3 times and that is only to cover the tracks of one room, also I cant cover tracks while mounted (unsure whether this is due to my low cover track practices) so for humans this skill isnt a variable option much of the time and for ds, well our practices are to tight for this option.

I would suggest making each room the timer of a bash, it's not difficult to do a track, notice there are none then do a track in the next connecting rooms especially since track timer is so short.

just my opinion, what do you guys think?

also, for how long the timers are, it seems to fail a lot even when practiced high. maybe at higher practices make the timer shorter?

DS practices are too tight for this option? They are they same as LS? The 10 practices added to LS for ride is a double edged sword. Thieves need 3+ pracs to actually ride 100% everytime without fail, costing more than 10 pracs(depending on str) and rangers who are bash/combo/dodge, this sucks away at least 16+ practices(depending on str) for ride, murdering their practices even worse.

So if anything, DS has the advantage, I don't like failing my mounts, it killed me a couple times in the beginning


And cover tracks is pretty neat, no you can't cover tracks while riding horse, but it's so slow you can just dismount and lead horse, and you'll regen full mvs by the time you even try to go anywhere

LS has advantage if you get 48%ish ride(warriors don't matter), then you have spare pracs as a ranger. But you can't bash or do any other skill other than kick.

DS has advantage for everything else. So. For all you stabby rangers! Or simply dodge with kick rangers! Go at it!
