Just Realized Something

...Lack of human players gives humans an advantage...

Since most active human players seem to be ones that know enough about PK to actually survive a 5 minute skirmish and run in when the buffer displays "Beaten", the overrun Darkside population provides a good selection for human players to pick off those that have no idea what they're doing, thus making it easy to gain weavepoints... Nicotine is an exception since he was on a lot while the whole defense thing was messed up, thus making him near invulnerable.

However on top of that the continual PK around the human zones makes things harder even more. Gives more distance to block for humans while still draining trolloc moves, adding up fleelag, etc, etc...

So my point here is that when things get ugly for trolls, humans really have the overall advantage when it comes to mopping up weave points mainly for the same two reasons I mentioned above:

1. 90% of the time PK north of FD
2. More newbies on Darkside to kill

Haven't gained much WP only because the people to kill on Lightside are those who already know what they're doing. It'd be like reducing Darkside to Nicotine, Lithium, Growler, me(well not trying to boast but I at least knwo my zones), and another random decent player.

Just something I noticed. I think it's time for me to migrate. :P

We also have tons of newbs too.

The only actual LS pkers who know how to pk with any certainty are:

Me
Chase
Druss
Musashi(never plays EST time)
Darwin(never plays EST time)
Darcon(hardly plays, is a bum :))

It's just I have to take extreme risks to even kill a trolloc when they run blight from n fd. Not only after I kill the guy do I have to try to walk back with a hagg horse(or no horse) with multiple trolls on me(you nearly got me other day after I killed afryt blight)

I really haven't met any true insane trolloc newbies, they all do a fairly decent job. They know most of their zones. Whereas pretty much any LS pkers other than the aforementioned don't know any zones N of fd.

I also really don't think WPs mean jack tard. Also, the typical LS audience that are usually on right now are at parties or doing other Saturday night activities.

Kinslayer is reknown for being busy as hell and quiet as hell on Friday/Saturday nights. ;)

For instance, my last kill was inside GK against a pretty good pker who knows how to move, but is just a bit rusty.

Both sides have their ups in downs, if your lookin for kills, both sides will always have them, we both have our newer players, and we both have our skilled.

But if you come on over that'd be great, that'd be one more LSer to help even the battle in our exceptional friendly zones!

Oh and it's not like you didn't absolutely slaughter us this evening n of fd.:D

One of our newer players had no light, so he got skunked(there is one ls "newbie" who was online, he didn't come out the later part b/c his link kept dying). Druss got pwned from being low and numbers. :P

Even though you have newbies, you don't have nearly as many as us. It's like saying I give you 1 carton of eggs. 30% of the eggs are rotton. Now I give myself 20 cartons with 30% rotton eggs.

Likewise with this.

We didn't absolutely slaughter anything. Was impossible to kill you since you hide out in that zone, zoom by the choke, horse doesn't even hagg from there to FD. Not much coulda done.

I hagged inside Ngate. :)

Yes I hide out in zone, but when you find me, I don't have mobs to do any dmg with or to even slow you down, so it's all about catching me and speed :D

And when I said you slaughtered everything, I mean you destroyed LS so easily that pk ended, I can't pk vs 4-5 trolls solo in abs with 1 patty :D

Likewise it is the exact same thing to try and kill you when you run SA zones. I can't catch you on a white horse, and then if I dismount to catch you, only chance is to catch you on that tic. My human mvs can't regen close to troll mvs, and either does the damn horse.

So when you run SA, I just say screw it, I just can't catch you man, that and having to track every 3 exit room to save the crappy mvs I begin with :D

Both sides have tons of newbies, and I will still support the fact that DS at least knows the damn zones. You still haven't even SEEN half of our side north of TV. :P

But when they come, you'll get your easy kills, if that's what your after.

Both sides have always usually stayed hand in hand with numbers(although recently is DS) and always the more experienced players were on ds.

They were forced to become experienced, they had to fight the most unbalanced class of all-> channelers. Any newb could follow a leader and spam fireball, and that caused the hardening of DS into great runners and great survivers.

As channelers aren't in the game, that might explain as to the inflation of numbers on the side, and the lessening of "experience" as you seem to have found.

I really haven't encountered any complete newbs in pk yet, they all know at least how to run and half the time I can't catch them based on mvs problems, so my only chance is to chase them dead.

But, I'm sure if you've played both sides more, your probably right, and time will only tell when we get more pkers pking once they get higher lvls.
