1. The QP being worth more than 2 was back in old kinslayer, and doesn't affect anyone here.

2. I agree with the channies part, but the hp/mv part is basically just for the super staters of you. When I stated Growler I just took the first guy that had some normal dex/con.

3. I don't see why this is so good. We already did start out at the same level... right around the end of last year(new kinslayer coming up), and again a year before that (the old pfile whipe), and again a year before that (begining of kinslayer).
1. Qps were worth more than 2 on this kinslayer, I remember Galnor bringing them down to 2 because people already had like 100 qps within a few weeks of this being up.

2. Channies have been messed around with in new kinslayer, and anyway stating was already too easy here. Basically everyone has superstats. If we want any sort of variation these need to be wiped.

3. How can you say new kinslayer was at all balanced? The imms had to do a complete overhaul of most character's stats because it was so unbalanced. There are people here who have multiple storage chars filled with the best eq/weaps and trinks. The availability of high-end eq is just ridiculous. All this needs to be fixed before the game can be balanced.

You guys should just realise that if you want a game where you can feel you've achieved something on an equal playingfield you're gonna have to take some hits. As long as this is the last complete wipe, then i'm all for it and think that it will have the best longterm consequences.

1. Fine. So QPs were worth more than 2 for a short while. I wasn't claned then, so because a few chars got some more qps I should lose my 300 kills?
Oh, and acording to your logic Raedin, there can't be any "QP's being worth more" days, because taht would be unfair tothe people who get kills. Right?

2. A. I agreed on the part of channies, yet you still seem to want to tear my non-existant arguement apart. Fine. You win, Bob. Channies are stupid.
B. Basically everyone does not have superstats, and even if they did, so what? So we need to go to a wotmud system were I need to spend hours and hours to get a playable char, just because Raedin wants this guy to have 19 17 17, and that guy to have 17 17 19, instead of both having 17 19 17 (lets assume for a minute that all chars are the same)? (oh, and you know what? I really could care less if stats are whiped. Seriously. I play 15 19 18 with 346 hp and like 210 base mv)

3. Did you even bother to read my post, or just see what this is about? Apparently not, because if you would bother to read what's infront of your face, you'd know that this IS NOT about eq, this is about QP. Eq is going to be whiped -anyway-.
Also, your "answer" has 0 connection with my post. You're just trying to find ways to be an asshole. Congrats, you succeeded.

I suggest you guys wait and see what happens before deciding this is a bad idea. No matter how much you argue the point, what has to do be, will be done. If people quit because of it, then so be it. I will regret any loss of the playerbase, yet losing people as a short term effect will show me that the price was not so bad.

At first I did not think we'd be doing this. Yet even one of the Staff members from Wheel of Time suggested that this be done, and that it had been done over there as well. Yes, this is not that game, but they have had good times and I take ideas from them as well as you guys.

For those of you worried about re-statting: You don't even know what the plans for statting will be. You'll be suprised.

For those of you worried about EXPing: It's not THAT hard to bump up the value of EXP temporarily.

For those of you worried about losing questpoints: Easy clanning requirements = bad apples in charge. A generalization, yet doesn't apply to everyone. Take a look at the history of this game. I intend to not make that mistake again next time around.

Yes it would be unfair. Yes there can't be any days if we want to fair. I didn't say there should be

If you want to bother with a stat system then it should actually have meaning. If the point is to give everyone the same stats (in general) then we should just be allowed to choose our stats. I assumed that because we have to stat to get characters then good characters should actually take some time to stat, or else they cease to be good characters and the sense of achievment from that particular area is gone. Why do you think stating exists?

Although I try to ignore most of the stuff that is thought up in your pre-pubescent brain, I did actually read your post and found exactly 1 reference to QPs. When you read the title of the thread, you'll learn that its perfectly fine of me to talk about EQ resets, as im perfectly aware they are being reset. I was just pointing out the further imbalance in EQ loads.

Better idea. How about if there be no more special occasions, mob raids, or anything else just to be fair? Then again, how about not? Life isn't fair. What you're saying is like saying that if say after the whatever-whipe I get some eq, store it, and wait for 5 years till it becomes super rare or something, all EQ should be whiped because it was easier for me to get?

You're acting like everyone is a 19 19 19. Which really isn't the case.
What is the case though, is that everyone can get good stats easily, so you don't have to spend hours and hours just getting something normal. However, if you do want that 19 19 19 19 19 with 100 base hp and 300 mv it'll take you a good while.
What is stating for? I suppose making a character diffrent from the other. You know what they aren't for? Working endlessly just so you can start playing a game.

You were just pointing it out, eh? There's a diffrent between pointing it out, and making it apear like I'm totally against it.
For example: If I was to say "Hey Raedin, I can't belive you're saying that the game is X or Y!" when you're actually not saying anything to do with it, would be the latter.
I didn't say it wasn't fine for you to talk about it, but saying I said this or that, when I didn't say anything that even has to do with it is just a little tiny bit stupid.

Oh gee, sorry bout that. Didn't mean to insult your mature intelligence :)
Thanks.
You're welcome.

Your definition of easy is defintely not the same as mine, then. And besides, easy was the wrong word to use. My point is that the way things are set up, anyone can be clanned fairly easily. That's what I want to change. The fact that it is easy, yes easy, to gain authority is not good. It means we have people who do not know how to handle their power being in charge. Anyway, I should probably have kept that part to myself since people probably won't try to understand where I'm coming from or agree with me.

And since Growler and Raedin seem to have adopted a little argument with eachother, I'll lock this.
