Queen's Guards

Post by Guest »

I don't know about all of you guys, but their seems to be alot newer people playing ever since wotmud was down. I know it's back up but these 'newbies' still play. I thought it would help if we started a Queen's Guard clan down south. They can help lower lvl's xp and get eq. They can also assist them and teach them how to pk. Queen's Guards should be able to get qps from smobs too, make it a little harder, so you have to get a scalp of garwin and aiel to get 1 qp. Shouldn't do doon bc you have to have channelers to kill that. Any suggestion/comments on this? I think we should expand more down south for our newer players that don't like pk as much as us or don't know/want to pk.

i agree with you, but it doesn't have to be queen's guard. the mud is becoming more and more poputlated and 1 -3 clans on ls just doesnt seem enough, we need to open up other possiblilities.

Make my Children of the Light clan official! We already have 4 members, and I'm thinking we would have a larger enrollment than Borderguards if we were implemented as a real clan. That stupid whitecloak smob east of Fal Dara that no one hits can be turned into a temporary clan base.

Besides, adding this clan would stop channelers from having their way all the time. Everyone wins!

Murandian Cavalry and the Queens Guard will not be open until the administration finalizes our plans for them.

i agree with cifon, CoL would be a great clan to open up since channies are a largely played class.

i disagree with cifon and laer, you guys probly havent realized it but most the channelers out there are mc's/fc's that AREN'T part of White Tower, I thought CoL didn't like Tower and Aes Sedai, not channelers, plus there are NO gaidin. There was kharsk and there is max, but max rarely ever plays. If you add CoL it just would be another problem for the tower

Not only do we have a hard time recruiting people that meet our requirements in gaidin, no one will want to play as gaidin. Gaidin have no bonus's so I'm told until they're bonded...which they have to be , what rank 6?

The tower has many people that hate it. heres a list for you
All darkies----big class
wanteds
mc's
and haters, people that arent wanted yet but just kill you bc you killed their wanted/mc's/trolll
and you are trying to add to this list with CoL

In case you guys didn't know Erica was a big step in stopping people from playing channelers, her becoming red ajah. either they are mc's and they are going to be hunted by her and her lil helpers. or they are fc's which they can't fireball.

Why dont you lower your standards so people can actually join Gaidin? There are plenty of people on this mud now, I see no reason as to why Gaidin is the hardest clan to get into and it has absolutely no bonuses unless you get rank 6.

I am totally against lowering the standards. It will be a laughing stock if ever newbie gets clanned bc all they have to do is kill a few smobs. I know plenty of people that plan to clan Gaidin once they get their affairs in order. Please don't lower reqs, it doesnt have to have bonuses to be elite.

If you think thats the hardest reqs, try some other clans which require you to be legend to join.

its a laughing stock that a bunch of newbies can take town a tower channie. white tower needs there gaidin protection more then it needs the top notch warriors of this mud.

Just wait a little bit, more blood has gone into the mud since WoT has been down and Im sure they will be joining clans as soon as they get more zone knowledge. And imo, Gaidin were top notch warriors, it just means the Gaidin will get in the Aes Sedai's way if they dont know pk and zones.
