I disagree with the cookie cutter statement but agree that examining master weapons should be disabled.

On the same note I dislike someone examining my worn eq in the middle of pk, kill me and examine it then.

Sounds reasonable.
Anyone examining a master weapon that isn't his own won't see the stats now.
You can no longer examine equipment on someone else if either one of you is fighting.
