preliminary analysis is:
new statting system is a little too hardcore. i've been statting for hours and have consistantly gotten awful (and i mean awful) stats. out of 30 or so stats the best was 16 19 16 with shitty intelligence.
if we're able to set our own stats at something way better than what we're getting through statting ourselves, well, that ain't right.
i'd suggest setting the median of statting at a little lower than what we can set ourselves. only reason i'm restatting (as well as other players) is to try and increase intelligence; combat stats weren't bad.

seems like 10 or 11 is the average for all stats.

It's good as is.
Stats you can select yourself with points buy are by no means unplayable, only need to stat if you're hunting that uber better character, in which case you can put a lot of effort into stating better than possible selections or take selections yourself.

I've stated 80 or so so far, haven't got awesome stats combined yet, have had top end in each stat, just need luck for them to combine.

I like it I think, although in 40+ attempts I havent even come across something remotely playable.

I think there need to be more statting mobs around. kind of ridiculous how it is atm. 2 people trying to stat on the same time kind of ruin it for the both of us.

Other wise I don't mind it being a little hardcore best i got has a 17 14 ** 19 15 but i was looking for something decent with good bmi/moves as well. since i was like 6'5 and 155 lbs with 120 moves i decided to scrap

(though i once got a 9 15 10 19 20 which pissed me off)

by the way, best i've gotten with random statting is this so far:

But i think its good that its uber hardcore, dont want to see eveyrone running around with 19 19 19

Correct reasoning by Katsu. You may choose your stats if you want something "average", but don't expect to see average stats very often with the random rolls. It's an all or nothing type of thing. If you want average, go with the choosing system. That's what it's there for!

could random rolls average with higher Moves/ Bmi ...? otherwise its just impossible
