Computer breaking down

hello guys,
My computer is breaking down. I might have a harder time being on... will be on from school library some at least, but that is closed on the week-ends.
Who knows, I might manage to fix up my laptop, but until I do, it's going at snail speed... that is when I can even get it to start up. It's not a virus, it's some other problem with the hard drive. (maybe I let it over-heat.)
