lots of questions goin on on new gear, i'm posting this to show you what top gear is barring rares/uniques.

all the trinks i'm wearing are moves trinks, i think there's one in each slot better, but they too much of a pain in the arse to get. also, thick wool cloak is moves cloak and loads obsid tower.

i said peek, cause when i made this set it was tops, not sure now, i hardly every try to play combo. not sure bout trinks either, you'd have to ask our resident comboer Kerian for further info.
Smithable items...some are better then what we got, but i don't like to get the smithable cause of the decay rate, they change it to no decay and i might try some out, so don't ask me about smithable/smithed eq.

again, this is disregarding rares/uniques, and i'm certain i'm overlooking stuff, but sue me, i was bored and decided to try to help clear some confusion.

also, they made it so most of this gear is relatively easy to get, certain smobs load full kits.(sometimes with trinks, sometimes without)

On combo I prefer crystal shield, dull green tunic, and dodge trinks. There is a pb cap somewhere around 200 I think so it's really not worth it to max pb with tall shield and pb trinks - imo.

I agree with Chase. I tested the effectiveness of pb, and anything over 200 was pointless. I pulled almost 300 with full pb gear, tower shield, and gold staff; it made no difference.
