Also tried setting Nicotine's Smithing pracs using skillset, and it didn't save.

I was having the same problem with my ride resetting to lvl 5 on me

So it looks like this is only happening when a script is setting the skill? I tried to reproduce the problem last night from a regular trainer and my practices saved just fine. I'll take another more thorough look tonight when I am at the server.

I thought that was the case, but I used the skillset immortal command to set Nicotine's Smithing skill and it still reverted back to what it was after logging in/out. I assume Kara's problem with practicing Ride is from a skill trainer. So it looks like whatever the problem is, it's affecting everything.

Well it is fixed now.
