I took my parchments out of the pack and couldn't read any of it. I was getting these messages:

You see nothing special..

The writing has become so smudged you can't make it out!

Defish, who was with me at the time, could read them without any trouble so I suppose it is not a damage by time as the one herbs for exemple. Am I doing something wrong?

The second message isn't a bug. Parchments can't be stored in chests or they will become illegible.

As an aside for all those players complaining about this "feature" : until some coding fixes get put in place, I can't do anything about this. Start bugging Fogel or Galnor about something called a "pval" and maybe they'll start listening to me.
