Ok, so I myself am really really really over losing all my EQ due to my corpse decaying because either my internet screws up or i have RL stuff to do immediately, i've now lost around 7+ full kits to it, and probably 4+ rares and 6ish uniques..... So i thought of this idea which i think is pretty good

So if your corpse does decay, I was thinking what ever was on your corpse would go to the guardian for another set time like 2 hours or something(or no time limit) just in case something does happen, then after your corpse decays you come back with in the time slot you just 'tell guardian return' and he gives you everything that was on your corpse when it decayed.... I was also thinking that the EQ saves over reboots and such.

I personaly think it's a good idea because it helps players not need to spend so much time re-equiping, plus it making the players angry and upset that they lost a full kit, maybe forcing them to rage quit for a while or something....

It seems easier to just increase the time it takes for a corpse to decay.

Alternatively, you can gain skill and either A: Not die or B: freaking get your eq from your corpse before you run off. turd.


It's not hard really. Corpse decay is FINE as it is. This was a stupid idea.

i dont think it would be any problem with making corpse last a bit longer.

It's 30 minutes right now. Seems like plenty of time.

yes it does, but i still dont see how making it longer would hurt at all :p

like i said, most of the time it happens to me is because my internet screws up.... and a few times i've had to go and do something irl for an emergency so it's not like i can really help it..... if i just like sat there and went off into my own world for 30 mins and lost eq then yeah, it would be a stupid idea... but i think you should get over yourself nyoga, your not that great mate. stop spaming everything calling people names, it doesn't get you anywhere.... I honestly don't see the problem with my idea of being able to get your eq back after your corpse decays, if for any reason it does before you get your EQ back . . . . it would stop whining, and help PK continue..... i seriously don't see a down side to it only and up side...

a lot of the time i actually just go afk. End up doing something else and forgetting that i'm afk with my corpse about to decay. what if PC corpse decay left all the items/equ on teh ground in the room the person died in.

You realize if something like this were instated, there would be no point in having corpse decay at all correct? This seems to me to be a way to trivialize dying by offering no possible consequence other than someone swiping a few items from your corpse, since you can just quit out and then come back and retrieve your equipment. I understand what people's argument for this idea is, but game mechanics should not have to take into account what is going on beyond the computer screen, that's nobody's business but your own.
