If you seriously think that is abuse of power or 'being power hungry' then perhaps you should look back at what you were like and actually go look at your post about the white tower. i serve the city of tar valon, not the tower. there is a darkfriend in the tower, and as such i'm taking measures to protect my people that reside in my city.

Umm actually, the valon guard are sworn to serve and protect Tar Valon, The white tower, and all who reside in the tower... not just Tar Valon...

valon guard's allegiance is to tar valon first and foremost. tower is harboring a darkfriend, tar valon is in danger. measures are being taken against the tower to protect tar valon. it's that simple.

Lamgwin is a council member and therefore, he is in command of our priorities, I would think. If you think the Tower should have control over Valon though, that would have to be settled between the Valon council and the Tower council I would expect.

Valon Guards are soldiers that defend the Aes Sedai and the White Tower and the city of Tar Valon. They are led by the High Captain.

We are not harboring a Darkfriend, Kathryn is on trial and matters are being taken care of, things of which have nothing to do with you...

darkfriends in my city has everything to do with me.

It doesn't say we take orders from the White Tower and it's loose enough for interpretation.

description under valon on the forums says "For the defenders of Tar Valon.". if you're going to play roleplay cards, do so with the roleplay established on our game, or i can pick and choose parts from the various books and make the tower in ruins, if you'd like.

Honestly this is ridiculous. Lamgwin if you think you can banish The white tower from tar valon you have another thing coming as i will personally show you just who has power in tar valon. The Valon Guard serve the Aes Sedai if you do not like it you are free to seek service elsewhere.

I don't really care what is happening here, but I agree with Lamgwin's interpretation. In this mud the Valon have never been strictly under the orders of the WT, the WT just thinks they are.

That's what I've been trying to say but I get ignored. :/

This is all senseless. Kathryn has been dealt with which was the whole reason this mess started. EVERYONE active (Solare, Kyrana, Ciarra, Jaina) voted unanimously for Stilling and Execution. This is done. No reason for this war. If the reasoning is because of what was done to Bob, which has been stated several times it was. Then they all agreed Bob was wronged greatly, and treated him as the victim. Bob even came to Tar Valon and spoke with Ciarra several times. Kathryn is no longer associated with the Tower, and during the entire trial (yes it took overly long but Avaine vanished halfway through) she was banished from the Tower and has held a Borderguard Warrant (no Tower Warrant as she was never online and banished). There is no reason for this to continue at all except for people having grudges against one another.

Your stupid, idiotic friend Ciarra is ignoring the history of this game, along with the roleplay of Robert Jordan's world. Her power trip has no basis, no legitimate claim, other than "because I said so".
