melee dodge

Two rogues should not be able to melee to death a ranger with 19 19 17 19 19 stats pulling 130db 181pb wimpy unmounted. fair enough if they fuck me up if they shield successfully, but in normal melee there is no fucking way they should be able to do that. and guess what they just effing did!!

lol you are truly a biased son of a bitch. You have no foresight and you have NO thought to what you are saying. You just bitch about anything you don't like.
Jesus man grow up.

how am i biased?
oh so what you're saying is i shouldn't complain when i land 6/10 bashes and get melee'd basicly every round through my perfect dodge kit by a mere dagger then when 4 of those 6/10 bashes get shield blocked so i myself am bashed for two rounds, of which parry doesn't count for shit and i get fragged 4 times per round because rogues hit twice in 1 round. yeah right dick head you need to grow up.

Shield block is easy to counter even without a trigger!
Also, no single non-remort should be able to melee to death any two char's of any class combination!
Also, not even a remort should be able to melee to death any two char's of any class combination!
If it were otherwise, that would be ridiculous!
This assumes there are no mobs involved ofc.

yeah, rogues can't really hold up well 1v1 vs any class that knows what its doing, but 2 rogues can't kill cause they split your pb just enough that a few hits of their 4 per round are going to touch you.
And also, pb doesn't do anything (I parry about the same with 175 as with 280)

Ok, asshole, let me lay your ignorance bare for you.
You are a ranger. You have 19 dex. You have 130 db. You have 180pb. You have a less than superb defense by comparison, and no, you shouldn't have any more than that. You probably have a shield. You said you
landed 6 of 10 bashes. You then said they shield blocked 4 of those 6 that you
landed. That means you didn't land 6 of 10 bashes. You sit for a short time when you get shield block. That time does not even amount to CLOSE to two rounds. You're a dumbass. You have sitting defense. Rogues have attack. Both of them probably had much greater than 185 ob. There were two of them. There was one of you. You were in dodge. You're going to get fragged. Frags hurt. Frags can kill. If you eat many frags, you will die. You ate lots of frags. You died.
I tried to use really short sentences that were concise, yet complete in their facts. You'll find I'm quite knowledgeable. Hope you can learn something. Of course, I tried to teach you to pk, channel, and be a very overall helpful person but instead you turned into this. So I should probably stop trying.

So therefore it's unnecessary

Um, I don't think that it wasn't necessary, it drove home a point (which 3 imms actually payed attention and responded to) and the point was made very clear. I think that name calling is almost always pointless, but when someone is complaining about not being able to melee down 2 chars in 2v1, a point needs to be made in an extremely pointed fashion.

I disagree Barf, but first let me say that I read every new post that's made on the forums unless it's in the Art of War, because I can't stand scrolling through logs, and I'm pretty sure the other imms do as well. Just because we don't respond doesn't mean we're not paying attention. Also, Galnor and I didn't respond to the topic of the thread, which I'm sure people would rather have than us berating them for name calling. And I think Kathryn did a fine job of explaining to Tristan in her second post (except for the name calling) which should have been said in her first post, instead of just insulting him.
Sorry for the rant

Gotta be a way to lock threads when they get like this one and so many others.

I agree that name calling is uncalled for (although it was used well in this thread) but I also don't see why people have to complain that something is op every freaking time they die. Almost all of the recent threads have been complaints because people have died! People just need to play the game and stop complaining, if they don't like how it is then learn to deal with it or leave.

I think complaints have their place, but only when well thought out and properly researched. For example, a post complaining about dying solo against 5 people would be a poor complaint, whereas a post outlining how thieves are useless unless they land a backstab because they have no crowd control and low damage output would be reasonable.
As for the original post: I don't see any reason why one player should defeat two players in straight up melee, unless there's a considerable gap in equipment and skill between the one player and the two players.

What fogel said.
Sorry I used such blatant names. Next time i'll try to cover up the insults so they aren't quite so direct. :/ Or I should probably just refrain totally, but I can't help it. My momma dropped me when I was a kid and I bumped my head. I also have terrets. And I like jalapeno's.
