This happend when hes battered.. and then hes been pking for a while, it sucks as much but atleast then hes been in the pk.

Yall think its ok that this happend from healthy.

You will have to get used to getting blicked mesana, stabs should land 300+ hps every time (although I agree fleestabs should be more like 200). absers with like 430 hps will pretty much never be blicked from healthy though.

why should stabs land constantly 300+?

Your arguments are not very well thought out.

Why should a channie be able to do 200 dmg in one bash? nobody else can.

Why should a channie be able to gate in and out of areas with no risk? Nobody else can.

Why should masters get master weapons? Nobody else can. . . . .

Why should absers be able to be bashed and take very minimal dmg from melee, then get up and bash your face in? nobody else can.

Why should fades be able to fade? Nobody else can.

Why should a heron user have insane dmg/bash and all other stats? nobody else does.

Why should Imms be able to code and create zones? nobody else can.

Why should spear and lance users be able to click someone? Nobody else can. (and they also bash very well)

theres quite a difference, channie dmg might be overpowered.. I dunno.. how I see it the most overpowered thing about channies is the fast cast.. that together with fleelag is nasty, its like 40-50 dmg before anyone gets to flee..

Noone of your "questions or statements" involve insta dying from healthy hps in 1 hit though..

Theres quite a difference in eating a nasty bash, and dying healthy->dead to lets say 2 warriors, 2 hunters, 1 rogue and 4 channies
all just mauling you down.

its not fair that they can blick a certain class close to 100%.

Im not sure if your familular with wotmud but incinerate there used to be same thing, well not exactly since that was castable in combat, but its not hard to flee stab someone, eventually it will land dlined or between his commands even tho hes spamming.

The fact that you dont see this is a problem is for me unbelivable.

Im not saying nerf rogues, make them overpowered i dont care.

Why the fuck would anyone play a channie, gathering uniques, aiming for legend and achievements, when all can get stripped from you without you getting a single chance to counter it.. ker--blick dead.

Mesana, just face it, Stab should blick channies, cause unless the channie doesn't play well, the rogue will never be able to kill (granted there are exceptions e.g. rogue has insane ob on a unique dagger *cough* ) . Flee stabbing should be changed though, agreed that it shouldn't be able to blick at all.

Ciarra's idea sounds great, kick beeing a skill to use to interrupt weaves sounds great.. and lowering dmg etc.. Kathryn, the reason we are disagreeing with eachother is cous i think we have a different idea on what a rogue class should be, that and how big of a bonus it is to beable to blick someon...

Backstab kills you, choke sends you running and only reason it would cripple you to die is cous you cant refresh your horse, yet there are refresh vials to use for that so no, I cant see how thats worse then getting killed without counters.

stab is pretty much fine because once dodgers are seen they can't do crap unless you let them. if stab damage was downed, channies would still always be blicked but all the other chars would be like stabbed beat cause we all have 400+ hps. Originally, not nearly as many people were playing channies...

Evilina go away, I have explained numerous times im not whining.. Im discussing.


Barf, yeah I agree with you on the fleestabbing part, fleestabbing combined with 100% blick makes it somewhat boring to aim for legend etc..


My point has always been to give them omething else to finish people off with if thats needed. Why MUST backstab be the tihng that kills 100%.


What im saying is that IF they were to nerf stabs, there are tons of ways to compensate ROGUES.
As it is now, ROGUES arent the ones that benefits from stab beeing overpowered. ALL classes can have backstab.

Mesana - get your effing facts straight. Now i'm just getting sick of hearing you moan on and on and on.

Here's what *I've* done with stab in the last 36 hours:

Bricked 8
Landed 3
Blicked 1

The other 2 that landed were to beat or crit.

That's my main power weapon, that's it. That's all I have. I really don't want to hear you whine because you 'can't get on legends' because of stab.

Listen dude, if you can't get on legends because of stab, then you'll never amount to anything. Stab is not what's destroying you, you are.

Look at Ciarra for instance. She's not a good pker, she's not even really impressive. She's new and makes TONS of mistakes, but she is learning and adapting, and she made legends. One day she'll be very good, she's on the road there now.

Did you look at Tyson and his kill streaks he had going on for a while? He's the absolute WORST channeler on this mud - besides Otar.

So why can't you do the same?

Bottom line - put up or shut up. I'm sick of it.

Im very well aware of that you brick stabs, I think the landing rate I have received from other people stabbing ME is something in the lines of:

Bricked: 6
Landed: 5
Blicked: 4

However when we discuss the damage on something you have to take in account as if it happends 100%, exceptions are dot's and other small period based types that are actually created to do damage/control over a certain amount of time.

Its seems your theory is its completely fine to add a new class to the game, its called berserker, has 1 hp, and does 1000000 miljon damage in a single melee round naked.

Even if backstab had 1% chance to do 500 dmg and 99% chance to kill the caster I would still think its wrong.

You cant possibly be so blind you cant even agree that sometimes, there are absolutely nothing you can do. When its a timestab that lands between commands. Sure you guys claim theres no "real" doubleline here but its still very possible and happends ALOT that the stab lands between commands.

Therefore when dying you loose wps, possibly legend, killstreak, rareeq and any other things you wanted to keep.

Again this has to do with chances..nfc what killed Ciarra and put her off legends but sure with a bit of luck you will never be the target of a timestab.. it's not very likely, but it can happend. great reasoning

The reasons have been stated previously, over and over again. You just refuse to see them as reasons because you disagree. The fact that you disagree does not mean that why you are wrong hasn't been pointed out.
