Ok so shield does not work on mobs? Or just not on him?And If thats the case is there any way we could get a different message to come up so we know it didnt work?

afaik Shield doesn't work on mobs.

Some 'channeling' mobs don't actually channel.

Ohh so its like they emote damage?
