Precise strike

I'm not dissing on this, I'm just wondering how this works because apparently you can get bashed for 2 rounds, get precision-striked when you start rolling the timer and it interrupts the timer, and by the time you roll it again you've eaten another bash and I think it can keep on going like that for a while? Just asking because this gives little room to either weave small things or roll a bash.
Nice going Chase.

It's a thief skill that just has a percent chance to break an opponent's defense and do a little damage based on abs %. It doesn't interrupt any timers except weaves (because of damage). You can also time it to do damage between rounds if you are fast enough. You can target certain body parts to do more damage, but I prefer the body since it lands the highest %, even if it does the least damage. It's mainly used for thieves who can't break other dodger's defenses, but I have found it fairly useful.
The only skills that I have that interrupt bash is hamstring (I did once on you at the beginning to lower db) and whirlwind (Never use, not sure why I even have it practiced). On another note I thought you were dodge? Felt like a one-sided fight because I figured your clay wasn't going to bash my set, which it didn't. That fight was won just because my set vs yours.

I hate those kind of fights.

Yeah my clay rarely bashes:P And I've kinda always been abs...besides the one time I went combo And I was referring to that hamstring-thingy, didn't know what that was. It wasn't really THAT one-sided, I had a patty with me. Maybe next time when I fail less I might be able to do more.

In case you were wondering, Thieves do some of the lowest dmg with pstrike.
Chase does more than twice what the average thief does.
This is a fact.

i have a question concerning this, when i bash and i time it right (usually allways) i can bash then get in two pstrikes and role another bash...... my question is, will i do more dg with the 2 pstrikes or would it do more dmg if i fragged them while they were bashed??

During a bash you can get off two hits and a pstrike which is quite a lot more damage than just two pstrikes by themselves.

Like this:
Your bash at *a human* sends him sprawling.
You slash *a human's* body into bloody fragments.
v (precise strike alias for me)
<Insert pulses for pstrike here>
Your strike *a human's* body
You slash *a human's* body into bloody fragments.
Just hit your alias as soon as you hit him the first round of bash, will hit in between rounds that way.

I'm not a big fan of how this skill turned out. I'm considering changing it in one or more of the following ways:
1) Increase chance of landing, but have the user miss their next combat round (either by increasing the timer, or giving it a small amount of lag afterwards).
2) Change the timer so it's based on weapon weight.
3) Require a one-handed weapon to use.
Any thoughts on these ideas?

I like pstrike as it is. I have no complaints about how it affects pk.

I believe the purpose of precise strike when it was implemented was to give rogues a chance to break the defense of other dodge and combo characters. It seems though, that precise strike became a skill that people used on bashed people, and on absers whether bashed or not. A lot of the skills that were given to rogues, such as projectiles and precise strike, seem to have just ended up hurting the absers instead of doing their intended purpose, that being help breaking up the defense of dodgers. So my suggestion is when you re-do this skill, make it where absers don't boned. It's getting kind of old having the thief class on this mud being rambos. They can throw shit at you, knock you down with their shield resulting in being bashed for a round, they can precise strike you in your head knocking you da fuck out, they can stab you for 450 hps, etc etc. The do everything and anything class doesn't really need another skill allowing them to wtf damage the shit out of absers.

Finally some lag after this. I figured the best way to show how strong this was was to just use it until someone posted about it.

Next up: Projectiles! muahaa
