Recently one of these spears came into my possession, and I have no use for it, so I wish to barter it for other goods. I am most interested in:

-spiraled bracelets of cuendillar, shimmering pendants of heartstone and bright red heartstone rings
-studded leather belts
-soft-soled boots
-other pieces of clothing which will allow me to easily avoid my enemies

She's thinking 'loot what you don't need/trade for what you need' WoT style...only this isn't WoT..

I have a set of personal rules governing looting that I always have and always will follow:

1) If you need equipment from a kill, take it.
2) If an ally you are PKing with needs gear from one of your kills, give it to them.
3) If someone loads something especially powerful, unique, or novel, take it.
4) Return whatever is left (usually most of it!)

I expect to be treated the same way.

I follow these same guidelines.

1.)If you need the gear a player has, take it but no more than a couple of items.

2.) If another person involved needs gear they take a couple items. (looting too much will kill the odds of getting a good, fun, and challenging next round of pk)

3.) If nobody involved in the PK needs or can use the rare it is returned.


I don't expect to be treated the same way because there are too many wotmudders here, but this is just how I roll. Hell, I got full looted by Raiden last night and he wasn't even involved in any way with the pk that killed me, nor does he use abs or steel bound clubs. This is why I keep my clan chest well stocked. Smobbing is easy here, a couple evenings with mercs and you can put yourself into a full set. What looting in any form usually boils down to is the new players smobbing, dying, getting looted, and having to smob again because some oldbie that is better at pk is too lazy to go get his own shit from smobs.

Personally, I wish xferring, storing, and trading of uniques and rares was illegal. If you want a rare, I think you should log on the character that will use it and get it.

jaina's list is reasonable and is what most players follow, i think.

1.) If you need it to max your kit out, take it
2.) If it is a rare that you can use, take it
3.) If it is a rare that you WILL reset to, take it
4.) If the other dude fully looted you/took stuff from you for no reason, treat him in the same way.
5.) If someone fully looted you and didn't drop anything in return for no reason, then fully loot him and post log you giving to murash or something

My rules, thankfully no one has ever fully looted me, so haven't had to do rule #5 yet!

i agree with Barf's rules but would like to add to.

6. Target Lamgwin in pk and spam loot him when you kill him
7. Search for Lamgwin and same side him and spam loot once he is dead.
8. *For Zmud* set this trigger #trigger {Lamgwin} {#SUB Fagwin} repeat this for all his alts
9. if the enemy comes into your terrertory (pukes come north to gk) and they die, take there gear south for them
