I know you reallly wanted my kit...enjoy I took asylums in recompense. Now he is naked and cant pk..Your the champ!

this is the type of crap that happens on wotmud. you really dont know if he dropped it somewhere... if in the middle of pk you dont have time to do much other than run. especially when it was 4 vs 1 at that point.

I really dont know if he (crunch) dropped it or not. I really just dont get it.

but if this is the way it is to be then so be it.

landor has been stealing gear pretty often lately, it could have been him.

I was told by someone he rented it...why would he take it..go n and rent without dropping it somewhere? someone locced my stuff..no where...he rented it..when he gets on he gives you my set..that easy

I don't know. if he rented.... he darn sure didnt give it to me.. and eq aside, i had 2pc scalps and 2 mob scalps to turn in. but I supose you needed those more also.

I would like to know why somone (apparently Nyboa) decided he was going to take my whole set when he wasn't even involved in that pk. Pretty cool. Its less pk though for LS until I find some eq so fine by me.

its obvious everyone is stealing everyones eq and everyone else retaliates by stealing others eq.

This mud is turning into wotmud real quick.

Im pretty sure you were told to drop this. If you can't handle my reason then dnt play. I havn't taken anyone elses eq, and i unknowingly took yours. after i found out it was yours, i was gunna give back but you started shouting out to the world that i looted your corpse and am a darkfriend, even though Tiberius said that he looted your corpse and dropped it fork (which i didnt know, thats why i was going to return it) but since you couldnt calm down and dicided to shout out to everyone and falsly accuse me i told you that i wasnt giving it back.

now its over so suck it up princcess and drop it.

P.S. i agree with burton, if someone wasnt in pk they don't deserve anything that comes from it. i did loot you when i was on nyboa, but only because Phantasm looted my unique after a pk session allthough he was nowhere to be seen in pk. plus he didnt even leave me his dagger to compensate me. So at the point that he gives me a nice dagger, and people stop fucking me over, i will stop full looting everyone. untill then, everyone i kill i WILL still be full looting. Unless i know you and i know your not an idiot...

keep lying landor, your reputation for being an equip stealer won't go away easily. (and by stealer i mean taking gear from pk you weren't involved in, or stealing gear from people on the same side as you)

Looting eq from pk creates a vicious cycle, one person gets looted usually by a well known looter so then the person looted takes eq from the next kill to continue pking leaving a bad taste in the mouth of the person most recently looted who on average had nothing to do with the original looting.

So now you have a naked pker who will probably harbor ill feelings for a while, I say don't be lazy and just smob for your eq.

Uniques are a different story all together.

Yes, looting if you need gear is one thing, but looting out of spite or to have extra is pretty much frowned on by most here. Uniques are fair play all around. If you die with one expect to lose it. Personally when I loot uniques, I leave a like class weapon in its place unless i simply do not have one. There have been many times I havent even taken the unique, especially if its from a friend of mine. But dont expect that to be the norm from aeveryone.

I will loot to max my kit, nothing more. I do expect, however, that if we get a substantial playerbase increase that this custom we've had with no eq looting will change. For now though, looting is a no no if you dont need it on the alt your logged into at the time. I take great pleasure in hunting down those who I feel create a bad atmosphere for this game.

1. I didn't loot it, I was given it.
2. Don't expect to have uniques returned; if they're returned, ever, regard it as unusual. If someone is on that can use it, they'll take it, that's the way it goes with good equipment.

In general I've been hearing a lot of bitching about equipment being taken, and I've been guilty of doing it myself. We need to recognize that this nice, happy equipment-returning business that's been going on is not, in fact, the natural order. People used to loot entire sets and store them on alts regularly. If your equipment gets taken by the person that killed you, they have every right to do so, they killed you. If it's taken by someone other than the person who killed you, that's no cause for complaint either, it was sitting on the ground and was fair game.

We have grounds for calling foul when someone loots an entire set and stores it, but it isn't a rule violation; it's just a really stupid douchebag thing to do, other people will call you out on it, and you'll be known as a douchebag equipment storer.

Incidentally, Nyboa, I apologize about not dropping you my dagger, I intended to but forgot about it until much later. But that's also not something to complain about - I was well within my rights in hanging on to a good dagger.

End conclusion: anything that happens to you in this game that isn't a violation of the rules is fair play. Any consideration that you're given in terms of returned equipment is dependent on whether or not someone else needs the gear, and any gear that's returned is - pay attention - the other players going above and beyond, not observing the rules or maintaining some sort of status quo. Losing your equipment sucks, but it happens to everyone, and bitching about it on forums won't bring it back. And I agree with what someone said earlier, once we have more players on at any given time, you can expect to see equipment return vanish.[/b]

Thats still looting. And it angers me almost more than a full loot, because then the looter feels like they arent looting, when it is still a dick move.
