It's almost summer time again and I plan to start building a lot again. With Tar Valon I hoped to add a lot of cool new things (while realizing they would probably never really be appreciated on this pk-oriented mud ), but I never asked any mortals' opinions on what they wanted to see in new zones.

So! Now's your time to recommend (be practical) things you would like to see in new zones. Keep in mind that my next project is Far Madding, so things you can think of for that city in particular are great but also be general for future zones.

Also, I encourage you guys to explore zones more fully as they're put in because some pretty cool stuff is hiding out there and nobody has found it yet!

i ask that maps get updated with new cities, i hate having to learn new zones that are in pk areas. ie. tar valon, fal moran, etc.

I actually think mobol when you enter rooms about quests, if even just for some money, is pretty cool. Like that one W of 4k was kinda cool but then I realized it didnt do much.

Not entirely sure what you just said, but quests are on the way.

People might like them if they had some purpose or achievement oriented toward them.

People don't really like just plain fluff.

Like I was saying about mob mini quests. Alder I was talking about the girl on 4k road that says help, and if you follow her there are trolls or thieves in the room attacking her father. I dont remember if anything was given for a reward, but its that type of cool/random stuff that would be nice.

Im not even sure if it would be easy to make something non-repetitive. For instance someone has a relative murdered, and you collect info to find the killer (5 possible, randomly chosen each boot/pop), and you get a 5 gold reward. Again Im not even sure whats possible just throwing out ideas..

I'd like to see some sort of interactive maze/labyrinth with a number of puzzles to solve that on completion would give either some coin or perhaps a random item. Something that would give people a reason to visit the zone frequently other than exp.

Perhaps a series of rooms where in each one you had to solve a puzzle to move on to the next, puzzles getting harder as you progress. I picture a young warrior's testing hall from the age of legends, adorned with shocklances and blue globes of light etc etc.

As for puzzles... the riddle quest at Maerwynn is brilliant, i think perhaps if you didn't stipulate the need for wot themed riddles you could create a huge variety of them for a number of rooms. You'd ensure that it would be different each time and that people wouldn't be able to ask someone for the stock answers.

On the idea of a prize i imagined coins, vials and perhaps quivers. Maybe something pk orientated like a cloak with a few extra pb, db or mvs. Something that'd disappear when you rented or boot, requiring you to go back again to gather another.

Make Far Madding have a lot of no-hide rooms/no stab rooms so people who get 'afk' killed arent allowed to complain anymore about being stabbed.

feel free to fight me when i'm actually playing. i'm sure it will be a much different outcome than from when i'm not playing. just ask nicotine.

Fear not, new quests that are coming out will not be repetetive. In fact, most of them will not be able to be done more than once. And they will be cool.
