I've made it perfectly clear what my stance on this is. If you don't want to die AFK to me, go LD.

I do my best not to kill people LD, because (especially recently) I have had a shitty link myself and know how it feels. The vast majority of my deaths recently have been due to link problems.

The only thing I feel bad about is killing someone who is NOT flagged LD and learning about it later.

saying that you've killed people ld in the past is not a personal attack. it's stating factual observations of what has occurred.


also, killing someone ld versus killing some afk has no difference in terms of the person being able to actually engage in the fight.

it's not surprising that a person who tries to scam people with his fake business proposals would also kill people who can't defend themselves.

First off, you know nothing about my personal and business life. The last time I even spoke of my business outside playing this game was almost 6 months ago, and it was only when I was asked.

Form your own opinions about whether or not I MEANT to kill people LD. Personally I don't remember the last time I killed someone LD, let alone a time EVER when I meant to.

Last of all... you try to defend yourself saying you didn't personally attack me and follow it up with a BLATANT personal attack? Classy.

the saying that you're a sleazy person who uses the same tactics as other "business men" to try and get people to get involved in a business scheme is still based in facts, but it is a personal attack. an attack to point out that your morals in regard to treating people in any type of fair way are lacking.

my point is that you don't care if the person you're fighting is there or not, you enjoy the act of killing people so much that you don't care about any semblance of fairness. you've demonstrated your total disregard for fellow pkers over the years as well, by fleeing off and letting your bashed teammate be killed instead of taking a few hits and then fleeing. your reputation for being a rather crappy pk partner, and crappy pker in general isn't based in mindless accusations, but based in how you've pked throughout your entire career here.

Wow. i'm very disappointed in you landor. that was quite obviously very kiss ass of you towards nico. i don't particularly like lamgwin but he's right in this case. i like nico to a point but he's one of the worst people as far as killing afk/ld goes. i've known him since he started playing so i'm well aware of his play style. while he has skill, he still reports to low base tactics more often than not. and imms cater this mud towards allowing ppl to not be able to afk, period. this thread makes me laugh

The main problem I have with people being AFK is there's no way to tell WHY they are AFK. If being a stabber means your primary damage dealing ability is reliant on having a SURPRISE attack, and you go stab ANYONE, they can come back at you and say they were AFK and you should not have killed them, even if they were just scrolling up to look at their buffer, looking at their trophy, checking their stats, or checking a forum thread instead of spamming for the stabber. Any of those things could have happened just as easily as them actually being AWAY FROM their KEYBOARD.

So as a stabber you basically deal with either killing people AFK who are AFK, killing people who are NOT AFK who will say they were AFK anyway, or getting a lucky fleestab. All 3 of those scenarios relay poor sportsmanship back to the stabber.

does the why matter though? any way you look at it the person is incapable of responding to anything happening on their screen at that time. you're killing someone who can't respond.

You're right about that, Lamgwin. Weak argument. I removed it.

The difference, as I stated in an earlier post on another thread, is that it is your choice to go AFK, where as being flagged LD usually means you want to play the game, but are having technical difficulty.
