Just kept getting wierd messages when i was trying to bash, sometimes I couldnt bash at all cause it kept saying bash who? or something like that even though i was clearly engaged on them. Its been happening when i hit mobs aswell. But i dont have a log of that message. Lots of times I found I had to bash xxx, is this normal?

You were hitting bash dark it looks like. Once Brash came in he was 1.dark and he wasn't engaged on you. Use 'bash' instead of 'bash dark', it works better.
