I must say I dont care for the direction the mud has taken, such as downing charge, stab, thief class, the change of northern pk zones, and all the damn pwiped. I've had a goal of making fade and between 3 aj's have earned over 1500 qp's yet now I am unclanned, the kno'mon but a memory in history, and with the lack of players it is impossbile to make master or fade at least within a year or two.

I considered quiting a few months ago but Valentin inspired me with his goal of creating a merchant guild yet from all sides there was opposition, people were adamant against change and anything that went beyond pk. Well with valentins absence the merchant goal has stagnated even though the clans lacks a script from being imped and from my perspective it will now never be imped.

There have been many great changes made to the mud but the few key problems listed above have had dramatic consequences to the mud. I've lost my drive to achieve here, and that is all a mud consist of, achievement and sociolization, but we dont even have a pbase to do the latter with.

So with that said I will take my leave, good luck and good night.

Opposition? No one opposed the clan. In fact, we're working on it right now. We're simply overwhelmed with finishing channelers, statting, and another thing or two.

Aj sorry to see you go. But it's inevitable. I doubt this mud will see the days of the past when there could be 15+ pkable people. I think a lot of people have come to the same conclusion as you: that the mud has gone a different direction than they have wanted it to. Slowly but surely we have lost every person that plays regularly until now we are down to the bare scraps of people that play and mostly what those people do is smob or mine, hoping for some good pk to start up. I think it has gotten to the point where people have been waiting for things for so long they don't even check these forums any more and even if the things they have been waiting for were implemented tomorrow noone would know about it or care.

Some imms have also been trying to push people away from the mud that they don't like. I know vurek was pushed away in this manner. someone has been trying to push me away in ways that i won't go into detail with. maybe a few others that weren't so loud as myself and vurek were also pushed away like in the old days when cannibal and atkins got sitebanned.

Goodbye:
Vurek
Chase
Gristlyn
Axxey
Osis
Nicotine
Phantasm
Rag
Aj
Valentine
Sartak
Dross
Phoenix
Smasher
Dobry
Quinton
Lyr
Jarn
Carter
Solcer(the most important of all of you. He has joined the marines and is currently in boot camp as we speak. )
And all those others that have quit that I forget to name(there's a lot of you but i can't remember you all :P).

I know vurek was pushed away in this manner.
Vurek was forum banned and noshouted on all of his characters for some extremely rude comments he made about me which were completely unwarranted. He'd been warned serveral times. If that's "pushing away" to you, then sorry, it's just not allowed to have such open disrespect like that spread through the game on global channels/forums.

As for general direction of the game, I don't see how the direction of the game has changed a whole lot. Channelers are gone temporarily, but I think we can all agree that they were completely out of whack the way they were before they closed off. But it's not as if they're not coming back. We've said that stat changes will come to allow a blend of the old/new system. The only other major change that I see are the zones, but let's face it, the old zones were poorly constructed and built in a rush.

A few things that I'm sure have been bothering people, such as stab damage, I've been meaning to tweak for some time. However, I've been busy & side-tracked. Other additions to make the game more fun are surely coming. I've mentioned many as well as other immortals. Just don't get impatient; these things take time and we're a bit low on man-power.

I can name some. Equipment is a big change. This used to be a fast mud could get good eq easily and if not oh well you could pk in bad stuff. You can still pk in bad stuff but equiping is very difficult for some people.

Max loads on items is a crappy idea imo. and we see it now because a lot of people don't even have decent sets because of it(and the people with gear aren't about to start handing out sets because they know once they die they aren't getting much back if it's against a dodger). for example glistening steel rings and twisted iron bands are completely maxed out(or someone removed the loads...). the only decent ring that isn't maxed out is chunky stone ring and since scout was removed(instead of downed like i asked...) it loads no where in game.

I hope to see fun things coming in this mud but as i've learned with this mud i'm not going to hold my breath. If you do hold your breath you're disappointed. Imms might say it's going to be imped but everything i've looked forward too has been tainted on the surface like saidin. i was really looking forward to clans and new zones but they disappointed me because it wasn't what i expected. same goes with charge. same goes with the pwipe that happened. us humans have to get lances that for the most part suck at the moment because of coding that doesn't involve it(a dodger ranger's weapon yet dodge and rangers suck atm) i think that's why people quit: they hold their breath with the expectation that statting and channelers(or in aj's case a merchant clan) are coming in and either it takes a long time to get imp'ed, it's disappointing when it does come in, or a mixture of both.

And I've explained we're doing the best we can. If you're going to get angry that things cannot be implemented as fast as it takes to please you, then you are becoming angry with the inevitable while we're still doing the best we can. Things happen, and not 100% of it will be for the better. It's just the way things work.

To my knowledge no ring has a max on it, except maybe red ring which is rare/unique. I know all loads that have glistening rings, and they load them, scout is in game, and most max loads were abandoned except on the best bashing weapons, leaving plenty of very good weapons out there sitting on these characters that have abandoned the MUD.

Aj, i was on when vurek was bad mouthing galnor over globals for no apparent reason. It was uncalled for, and i could see how that would lead to his no shouts, as he bad mouthed the head imm on the forums and in game. Also before you make an arguement,i know i've bad mouthed in the past, but thats irrelevant. The imms put a lot of hard work into this mud, its not their fault that players are too busy to play, or are just tired of muds. This mud has a lot of potential and hopefully it will grow, and become a complete mud.
