grow here but they seem sickly and bloated. Looking closely, these plants seem
to be decaying even as you watch them.

A Path Nearing the West Gate
The cobblestone path isn't as wide here as the other streets, yet the same
amount of people try and puch thier way through. Worn smooth by the traffic,
the cobblestone become quite slippery with the smallest amount of water. The
Western Gate is directly to the south.

At the Battered Western Gates
Twin oaken gates tower above, they seem to creak at every gust of wind. Stone
bulwarks provide extra defense on the battered gates. Lights hang all along
the walls, and even with the gates out of commission, guards stand nearby to
make sure no one forces their way through.

smoother as you near the fortified walls surrounding the city. Directly to the
west you see gates manned by grizzled soldiers closing after a merchant comes
though.

And then later I try a stab at fd ngate with Raiden, Adeline, and Chase in the room, and no one aggros me, so I think I have a clear stab on him again, and then gate mobs break my defense at the last pulse

This. Throw in me getting all bad flees, Nicotine always getting good flees, Nicotine getting disproportionate amounts of hits on areas with low abs, mobs randomly fleeing so he can land stabs... I swear, this guy must be ta'veren or something!

Secret to my success: not posting all the times I get awful flees and the thousands of failed stab attempts due to bricking, engaging, etc.

The Massive Northern Gates of Fal Dara
Dominated by the large, iron bound gates to the north, this stone courtyard is
used as a marshalling ground for the soldiers of Shienar. The uneven stones
that make up the ground are worn smooth from centuries of use by both man and
beast.
