So, have ya'll read the books? Or did you stop reading at some point?


I myself have read up to book 10(which was torture, book 10 that is.) and haven't read the 11th yet.

My favorite 2 books are #1 and #4. I can't really remember what happened in each, but memory tells me they were the most enjoyable.


So how about ya'll?(i can't imagine playing a mud without wheel of time base, or without some familiarity. )

I have read all the books. In fact, I have read them about three or four times total. I read pretty fast, so it doesnt take long. Just skip a few paragraphs where you get bogged down..

I've read em all. And most of them multiple times. And unlike some of you read ALL of each book too Whats the point of reading a book if you dont read the whole thing... tish tish.

the point of not reading them all when you've read them before is skip the fricken annoying pathetic females.

Book 3 with mat dealing to elayne brothers with quarterstaff prob one of my favorite passages.

Have been reading song of ice and fire which everyone seems to say is so much better and oh my god his females are like... more annoying than even robert jordans... :'(

Dragon Reborn is the worst one Ive read so far what with all the Egwene/Nynaeve/Elayne. Those are boring as hell

Haha after I read them for my first time i always skipped the female parts. Ive read the books multiple times also. Book 10 was the Devil i liked 11.

I've only read each once, won't read them again I just can't do it with books by rereading.(I can with albums however, 45ish minutes compared to reading 800+ books...)

Think the only book I've ever reread was Dune(Frank Herbert) which is my favorite Sci-fi of all time. And that was over a 5+ year span.

Song of Ice and fire is interesting, but I've decided I won't read past book 3 of that one(already read it), was cool while it lasted, but it's torture for me to even think about reading these 800+ books when the authors go 10+ books or plan too.

That's the equivalent of so many other different types of books, and I'm not too impressed with Robert Jordan's slow degradation of great books into money/time-fillers.

My favorite is an author who can write a trilogy that ends and is great...sigh. Too late now for WoT. I have to finish them, and I'll kill Jordan if TG sucks.

10 was pure torture. I read a page or 2 every couple months. Took forever to read.

Yeah i've read them all many times, even the first time I read thru them tho i skiped the whiny women parts, they are so freaking stupid, every time i read those woemn sections i am inspired to physical violence. but yeah i've read dune as well and i loved it. just read it again a few weeks ago as it was still sweet. the dragon lance books are pretty good and the R.A Salvatore books rock the world

Yah I really think Dune is a masterpiece. The next 2 Dune sequels slowly got worse, with the 2nd one being pretty good then the 3rd decent, then the 4th I just couldn't read.
