About 200 hps lost there. And that's the third time today.


Give humans some mobs outside so they don't have to sit at these gates spamming when outnumbered, because its disgusting. Anyone who hits there is as good as dead.

That was because one of the wandering pattys was in the room at the time lith. Only 5 mobs usually load in the room.

It still hurts...I died from batt twice earlier to Chase, also in one round, without the patty there.

even though i got torn up in fd my personal view is that cities should be a bit rough.

i think the biggest problem with the city setup right now from what i have seen is how the gates are setup, but on the outside.... ok so if you get hit northgate, you can flee and run practically chokeless to westgate and vice versa... there is no distance between the gates so its like so what if tons hit me 1n? i can just go west afew rooms and im in.

a new zone between the gates on the outside to chokify and increase distance is the ideal option in my opinion. the same goes for keep... the gates are so close together it is laughable....

while this wont improve the situation on the inside, i think itll make it more fun when people come out. because right now when some pansy stabber that hits you and flees in terror walks outside, he can go inside with great ease....

Gk is the exact same way. Mobs can all stack in one room, creating insane dmg.

I really think city dmg should be downed, it's ridiculous atm, either that or we just have totally shitty sets.


Humans have no mobs N fd worthy of even chilling with, and that's your problem.

Still have nfc why there aren't any trees there like there used to be.


And also->It doesn't really matter how close the gates are, any decent pker knows that running most obvious course against a decent chaser is not the best idea.

Would be better to run N fd into the zones some, ruin troll mvs, and just chill.

And I've seen you chase zenrin, your not that bad, so I don't see the problem with it, never have, just beat them to gate, or there it goes.

He got lucky today that my link died 2x while they hit us smoothwall(went from high batt to low beat while ld and engaged heh:P), not to mention I spammed into an instant aggro hellions

But, in the end, turned out ok when darcon arrives from the north spammin k dark with me still leading.

i hardly consider myself lucky, or "not bad" but this is not a pk discussion forum, and im not here to flatter myself.

yes even if me chasing from one gate to another is not hard, you fail to see my point completely

"any decent pker will run the non-obvious course" is a load of bunk. if you are low and panicked, you will evnetually have to run your course. what if someone is blocking the one gate you can enter? you will eventually be forced back down through the second gate. therefore the person who can chase best will be more able to kill their opponent.

with chokes, i could set a group up in that zone for the fool that runs north "chilling" expecting me to be unprepared.... i send one to each gate, and the rest at choke points. the way it is now that is not possible to do

hyd, in his post, is saying that gates are fubar.... well i agree, but i think the problem is on the outside more than the inside. i say keep cities safe... but make it harder to get into the cities. sure pk wont be crazy and inside the cities and nonstop, but people can be safe for once in their life... well, at least somewhat safe... and if pk happens, you can use more strategy to trap your opponent, instead of "ok chasers" being forced to sit at the gates watching as people who don't even know the zones laugh their way into the gates with their middle finger stuck onto their back(well not really ), but you get my jist. had there been more distance from n gate to west, darcon would have second thought randomly coming outside to fight us, his moves become more drained, and his innability(possibly) to spam to the second gate would have gotten him enough fleelag that i could have gone for a kill. but as it is now, its impossible really unless i get really lucky

the way things are now is what id call.... handholding.... but hey, how about a better idea?

ps. stop crying about your bloody trees... use the scouts for gods sake ive yet to see anyone do that

A few more solo soldier mobs or some such north of fal dara would be good.

Trees i think they're avoiding adding more following along the lines of unrealism wotmud. (wtf, a tree is attacking me, htf does a tree attack?)
Blighted trees can act that way from the books however.

Speaking of cities.. How bout we make a way to get around Tar Valon without having to go through one.

IE, instant fireballs for 100 damage piss Dark Side off.

I really think it's stupid for trolls to have to run through damn TV, that's just bloody torture.

Would be great if it was set up like caem...doesn't even need to have mobs, just a great empty little zone for them to bypass tv.

Its in the Tower, the safest place in Randland. Look at NK, that place is insane. You guys have a safe city too..

Zenrin are you bitching because we don't head north to pk? Its been fucking 5 days since mud started and you want major pk? The main reason humans don't go north is that we have less on our side usually, and because we JUST caught up to you in levels.

We can't really comment on pk atm, it hasnt been a week and nobody has really nice sets, so we haven't even seen everything.

We do, however, need a way around TV. Sucks for trolls to have to go through human's strongest city just to get to the other half of the world.

since you failed to comprehend my post, NO i am not complaining.

what i said is that since the gates are so close, when there is local fal dara, or local keep PK, the people within the city have it way too easy. BUT, it's not because of the inside of the city, but more or less the otuside. instead of weakening cities, make the distance between gates longer, and make it a hard to learn section with chokes on both sides. the reason i think this is good is because of the pk we had last night, where people walked out, fled, and were in despite dire efforts to keep them out.

This is the last thing I post on any pk related thing for this "start of kinslayer". I give up, tired of these people being morons.

I access the situation, then I suggest what I think is needed. Then I hope others agree, and hope it eventually is recognized.

And, if people don't start getting better attitudes towards other players, and don't show any respect, topics will go absolutely nowhere.

Now, I'm 100% certain I am a hypocrite in this, as I'm 100% everyone else is in LIFE, so that's a failure of humanity for you.
