A New Age

A cloaked man strolls up to a tavern and utters:
"It is with our humble beginnings that a new age has begun.
Things have changed, times have changed, and we will trundle along into the pattern.
Yet, as is and always will be, has been and forevermore, we must defend the lands of the Light against the vile Dark One's minions."
The man gets some ale, and begins to plummet his dreams, his life, and his experiences into a bitter sweet drunken swirl.
