Few Concerns

As I only played ls:

Horse loads...Please. Caem hasn't repoped for several hours now, either have the others.

Lanterns---> we die in pk, we have no money to buy lanterns with(trolls don't need to waste cash on lanterns), we can't see, we can't pk :P

Please make them free? Maybe 1 per tic or something?

And, LS exp isn't the greatest, hard to compete with the plethora of trees ds has(blight and around their lands, that allow them to just fight 1 tree, not 2)

I'm sure DS might have some concerns, but it is very very limiting when you can not see, or move many rooms when your riding grays, or not even riding a damn horse.

Heh. Funny shit though. :P

You ever try to kill one of those trees?

It aint easy..

And we need more food.. or butcherable corpses..

Yah, he turned off butcher deer with low survival for a while b/c a bug crashed mud, I'm sure that will be back.

But at least you have trees :( :P

Yea, ls usually fight over who gets to kill the 12ish trees in TV. People rush to kill those.

And, a suprise, that I forgot about.

None of us can afford rent, we all lost our cash, and that means we have to sit and wait for bandit E of fd to load his 40 coins.

Please dump the cost of rent! Or copy wotmud for pete's sake(as we are doing right now with costing rent, on a pk mud!), their new system rocks.

Also, not being able to communicated out of COL is great, but I really think tells should be usable.

And, it would be great if we could give gold to each other, right now if I loot for someone I get there cash, and can't give it back to them.

And FD keeps aggroing me :(

hmmm, one more thing, since we have to buy our lanterns, could we please at least get the caemy shop to be open during the night. It was very frustrating to log on to find i had no lanterns, but the store was closed.

This came to my attention:

Darkside and Lightside both get 3 pracs per lvl.

Yet, LS has to prac ride, darkside doesn't. And, since ride is under war prac, it screws thieves/rangers.

Can we please compensate for this? That's a huge balance issue to me, and if you don't realize how precious 10+ pracs(to get 90% for bash we have to have bloody 16ish pracs..) are, then your crazy.

Also, now that we don't have channelers, might be worthwhile to remove 90% ride to be able to bash on horseback.

But, gist is, need more pracs, can't believe I didn't realize this earlier. :)

yea, i thought we'd get 4pracs per level or something :(

high level they be ok, just not as versatile in pracs as they could be, can't be defence and offence very well.

when abs % is higher things may change some.

To detail current LS situation:

1.Lanterns good now, last a long time, still need more ways of gettin cash please.

2. Horses are fixed, was coding error :)

Still would like trees n fd for pk balance, and would love those few extra pracs for ride :D

Let's not have trees N of FD. Perhaps a non exp mob? Maybe a pair of Borderguard scouts in 2 to 3 rooms spread over zone and roaming? And maybe a pair of wolves in one room... just something so that humans can pk outside of FD if ds outnumbers ls.

Posted: Mon Nov 14, 2005 9:37 pm
by Sartak
On the topic of balance.. I've been noticing that agro mobs seem to be attacking way to fast.. The mili-second you enter the room sometimes.

p.s. I agree that humans should have more exp mobs.

Trees north of FD are not for exp. We just want some sort of mob that we can use in pk. This way, if humans are outnumbered, we can go pk at the mobs and pk won't have to be inside FD...

I agree with that too.. Don't want you running into the cites either.. :)

Chase, moron, quiet.

Let the big boys converse. :)

I suggested trees n fd like it was 7-8 months ago b/c it worked fine. Blight is filtered with tons of mobs(a chasing patty now) and dhounds to boot.

Just putting the trees back to where they were, and probably dropping the set all e 1n fd(that was just stupid) would be just fine. That's like what....3-4 sets?

Then maybe add the other set 2n mal. Or 1 other on way to gap btw 1n on the main NE spamaway.

Was hilarious raiding blight with 3 humans vs 7 trolls. Slaughter. :P

I'm sorry, but in this stage of the game, being as LS has no channelers, this is handholding.

If the patty didn't track, this would be more balanced(no need of it anyways, so many aggro mobs blight-mobs aggro much faster now)

I really don't think DS needs that bash on an equivalent of a city room mob(ie Egate gatekeep) that can get multiplier dmg with bash and track(sure not much, but when hagg or on trolls blocking this could be very very bad)

Just, not balanced at all. Really always saw DS patties (gap usually and bpat) as counters to channelers with bashes. Weren't taht great counters, but there nonetheless, while LS has absolutely nothing outside FD worthy of this. Or even trees. :)

please up regen if you have higher con, atm i have more hp than others but when were all low, we have basicly the same amount cause we all regen the same...

Think con setup is like this:

20 con--> 42 hp regen sleeping
19--> 40ish sleeping
18--> 38-39 ish

And so on. So after quite a few tics, the higher con do end up regening quite a bit more, depends on what Galnor thinks it should be at :)

Why up con when you get hps for it.. Up strength if anything, because from what I can tell it affects very little.
